    Abstract: PURPOSE: To mold and manufacture in a good manner a very fine ceramic bar-shaped body of non-uniform wall thickness provided with hollow sections inside by preparing ceramic raw material powder, forming granular particles having the average particle diameter and apparent bulk density of specified range, injection molding a molding material composed of the granular particles blended with a binder, and degreasing and burning the material. CONSTITUTION: When a very fine bar-shaped ceramic body 2 with a hollow section 1 used suitably for a medical laser surgical knife, a laser probe and the like, ceramic raw material powder is prepared to form granular particles of average particle diameter of 50-90μm and apparent bulk density of 0.60-0.80g/cm , and a molding material composed of granular particles blended with a binder is injection molded by the molding pressure of 500kg/cm or lower, and then degreased and burnt. The granular particles are formed into the round shape, by which the internal friction of the ceramic material is reduced, and the molding material is filled stably into a thin wall section even when the shape of the body is very fine and its wall thickness is of non-uniform shape.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To sinter the long-sized cylindrical molding while preventing the curving thereof by hanging this molding by utilizing a lumped jig having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:The long-sized cylindrical molding 2 formed with a pair of through-holes 11 in the positions facing each other is prepd. The lumped jig 4 which consists of a body 4a and projecting parts 4b projectingly provided in a body 4a and can be inserted into the cylindrical space of the long-sized cylindrical molding 2 is prepd. In-the-projecting part through- holes 8 are provided in the projecting parts 4b toward the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the long-sized cylindrical molding 2 while the lumped jig 4 is partly inserted into the above-mentioned cylindrical space. A long-sized body 9 for supporting the jig is inserted into the in-the-projecting part through-holes 8 and both ends of the long-sized body 9 for supporting the jig are imposed on the supporting base 10. The lumped jig 4 is hung down by the long-sized body 9 for supporting the jig. Intra-body through-holes 5 are provided in the body 4 toward the direction which is perpendicular with the above-mentioned longitudinal direction and intersects with the in-the-projecting part through-holes 8. The long-sized body 6 for supporting the molding is inserted into a pair of the through-holes 11 formed in the long-sized cylindrical molding 2 and the intra-body through-holes 5. The long-sized cylindrical molding 2 is thereby hung down and this long-sized cylindrical molding 2 is sintered.

In this manner, the glass sealing and bonding auxiliary material 2 is formed; the sealing and bonding auxiliary material 2 is treated at a temperature higher than a sealing and bonding temperature of a glass sealing and bonding material used to seal a semiconductor element. Thereby, the glass sealing and bonding auxiliary material 2 is bonded firmly to the ceramic grid; since it is wettable to the glass sealing and bonding material, a bonding strength between the ceramic grid and a package can be enhanced.
