Abstract:
A thin film forming device comprising an intaglio printing roll (3) having a number of ink cells (3a), an ink supplying device (5) for filling ink into the ink cells of the intaglio printing roll, a printing roll (4) having a raised portion (41) adapted to be brought into contact with the above intaglio printing roll so that ink in the cells of the intaglio printing roll is transferred to the raised portion, a printing table (6) for fixing a body on which printing is effected and transferring ink on the raised portion of the printing roll to the surface of the body on which printing is effected by bringing the body into contact with the raised portion of the printing roll, a first driving device (31) for rotating the intaglio printing roll, a second driving device (7) for rotating the printing roll independently of the intaglio printing roll, and control means (103, 101, 102) for controlling the first and second driving devices so that the intaglio printing roll and printing roll rotate with a rotational speed difference within a predetermined range, wherein the intaglio printing roll (3) and the printing roll (4) are driven independently with a rotational speed difference within a predetermined range by the control means, whereby a thin film that is more uniform in thickness and smoother can be formed on the surface of the body on which printing is effected.
Abstract:
A thin film forming apparatus comprises a printing device including an intaglio roll (A) having a number of ink cells, ink supply means (B) provided with a doctor blade (B2) and adapted for filling the ink cells with ink, a printing roll (C) having its plate cylinder surface wound by an elastic form plate (7), to which ink is transferred from the intaglio roll, and a printing table (D) for fixing thereto a printing article (D2), to which ink is transferred from the printing roll. The apparatus further comprises an articulated robot (6), and printing preparatory work carrying-out means mounted to an arm (60) of the articulated robot for carrying out at least one of actions of mounting the elastic form plate to or dismounting the same from the printing roll, wiping or drying the ink on the plate cylinder surface of the intaglio roll, and wiping or drying the ink on the doctor blade.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To highly accurately print out a thin film with a prescribed thickness on a body to be printed by using an intaglio printing roll in stead of a plate-like intaglio printing and forming many ink cells on the surface of the roll. CONSTITUTION:Ink is supplied from an ink feeding means 20 to the surface of the intaglio printing roll 10, the roll 10 is rotated by an intaglio printing roll driving means 60 and the ink is expanded by a color expanding means 30 to fill the ink cells 11 in the roll 10 with the fixed quantity of ink. A fixing board 41 on which the body 3 to be printed is set up through an elastic body 42 is moved by a fixing board driving means 50 and the body 3 to be printed is brought into contact with the roll 10 at a printing position A to print out a thin film on the body 3 with ink stored in the ink cell 11 of the roll 10. Consequently, the surface of the intaglio printing roll 10 can be highly accurately finished and the roll 10 can be directly brought into contact with the body 3 to print out the thin film. Thus, the thin film with the prescribed thickness can be highly accurately printed.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming apparatus for a thin film which enables reduction of a production risk of an ink jetting system and improvement of reliability and certainty and enables formation of the thin film excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: The forming apparatus of the thin film comprises: a printing roll which is supported rotatably by a support frame of a base and has a resin letterpress or resin intaglio made of a soft resin; a nozzle means which is provided above the printing roll and jets ink to a prescribed area of the resin letterpress or the resin intaglio; and a printing table which is provided on the base and carries a printing object. The printing table and the printing roll are movable relatively between a printing position B where they come into contact with each other and a printing object setting position A and a carrying-out position C where they are apart from each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film forming apparatus capable of forming a thin film of a uniform thickness. SOLUTION: In the thin film forming apparatus having an intaglio roll, a doctor device, a printing roll and a printing table, the doctor device has an ink duct groove 35 extended in a longitudinal direction 34 and communicating with an exterior from a side face 40 of a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction at one end, and a plurality of ink flow-out grooves 37 extended in a substantially perpendicular direction from the groove 35 and communicating with the exterior from a side face 36 of the longitudinal direction at one end.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simply wipe out or/and dry a doctor blade and to automatically and uniformly wipe out the doctor blade by automatically holding the doctor blade between wipers under a prescribed grasping pressure. CONSTITUTION:A hand 5 consisting of a main hand body 1 and the doctor blade wiping-out wiper holder means 2 arranged to one end of the main hand body 1 through a repulsive press means 3 is attached to the arm of an articulated robot 6.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make possible the formation of a smooth, highly accurate film with excellent edge linearity on a material to be printed by moving an intaglio plate over a specified distance, then transferring ink over the ink on a material to be printed again from the intaglio plate through a printing roll, and transferring a smooth, uniform ink film. CONSTITUTION:Ink filled in a flat plate- or roll-like intaglio plate with regularly formed protruding and recessed parts arranged on the surface in an obliquely lined or lattice-like form, is transferred to the surface of a material to be printed on through a printing roll with protrusions. Next the intaglio plate is moved over a distance which satisfies formula (y) in a printing direction and/or formula (x) at right angles with the printing direction. After this, ink is transferred over the ink on the material again from the intaglio through the printing roll. In the formula, x, y are a travel distance, p is the pitch of the bank of the intaglio plate, n is the number of moving pitches of protruding and recessed parts of the intaglio plate expressed by an integer, and theta is an angle formed by the printing roll in a rotating shaft direction and obliquely-lined or lattice-like protruding and recessed parts on the surface of the intaglio plate.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow no elution of metallic ions into a film coated by the subject device and also no migration of metallic powder by providing surface of intaglio with a ceramic, and providing at least the edge of a doctor blade with plastic. CONSTITUTION:An intaglio 10 with a plurality of recessed parts 11 and a doctor 31 which fills ink supplied to the intaglio 10 in the recessed parts 11 are provided. Then the surfaces of an internal wall and a bank of the recessed parts in the intaglio 10 are formed using at least ceramics. Also the edge of a doctor blade 32 which constitutes part of the doctor 31 is formed with at least plastic resin. That is, no elution of metallic ions is generated in a film formed by this device, neither migration of metallic powder results. Further, since the intaglio and the doctor blade are chemically stable, the wide choice of types of ink used for the device is possible.
