    Abstract: Procedimiento de fabricación de una correa de ascensor (30), que comprende las etapas siguientes: aplicar unos revestimientos individuales (34) de un primer material de envoltura a cada uno de entre una pluralidad de elementos de tensión (32), de tal manera que cada elemento de tensión (32) sea revestido con un revestimiento individual (34) por separado de los otros elementos de tensión (32); unir partes de los revestimientos individuales (34) entre sí para fijar los elementos de tensión (32) en una alineación deseada y para formar una única envoltura que establece una geometría de la correa (30); caracterizado por que se fija un segundo material de envoltura (40) a unas zonas vacías formadas entre los revestimientos individuales adyacentes (34), con el fin de conseguir una superficie generalmente plana en por lo menos un lado de la correa de ascensor (30), comprendiendo la unión posicionar los revestimientos individuales (34) adyacentes entre sí; y fundir por lo menos parcialmente el material de envoltura para unir los revestimientos (34) a los revestimientos adyacentes (34); o comprendiendo la unión unir por fusión o soldar el material de envoltura de uno de los revestimientos (34) con el material de envoltura de otro de los revestimientos (34).
