    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine that the first UE is scheduled to transmit in a first slot and a second slot after the first slot. The first UE may then transmit, to a second UE, a first set of data in the first slot based on determining that the first UE is scheduled to transmit in the first slot and the second slot. In some examples, the first UE may determine whether a power estimation capability of the second UE satisfies a threshold. In some cases, the power estimation capability may be based on a correspondence between transmissions in the first slot and expected transmissions in the second slot. Based on the power estimation capability of the second UE, the first UE transmits data in a symbol reserved for automatic gain control at the second slot.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) carried by a pedestrian (e.g., a P-UE) may receive control signaling that indicates a resource allocation for a sidelink channel for pedestrian to vehicle communications. The P-UE may transmit, within the resource allocation of the sidelink channel, a message that includes an identifier of the P-UE based on movement data of the PUE being classified as pedestrian movement. The P-UE may monitor the sidelink channel for a collision warning message from a vehicle UE that includes the identifier of the P-UE based on transmitting the message. If the P-UE receives a collision warning message that includes its identifier, the P-UE may present an alert based on receiving the collision warning message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method, system, and apparatus may include managing the operation mode of a user equipment in vehicle-to-everything communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit an inactive request message (or a request message) to a base station to indicate the user equipment is switching from a base station scheduling mode (or a radio access network node scheduling mode) to a peer user equipment scheduling mode (or a roadside unit scheduling mode). The user equipment may receive an acknowledgment message from the base station indicating a state change to allow the peer user equipment scheduling mode. In some cases, the user equipment may receive an area identifier from the base station, and the area identifier may indicate an area where the peer user equipment scheduling mode is allowed.

    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus may include a receiving UE that is configured to receive at least a portion of a message for a service group, measure a signal strength for the message received, and determine whether to send feedback based on the signal strength measured for the message. In some aspects, a transmitting UE is configured to determine an intended range for a service group, and transmit a message for the service group based, at least in part, on the intended range.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting user equipment (UE) such as a vehicle may identify data for transmission and transmit a request message to one or more receiving UEs (e.g., other vehicles). The request message may be associated with a first priority. The transmitting UE may monitor resources for a response message. The response message may be associated with a second priority. If the transmitting UE receives a response message, the transmitting UE may determine whether to transmit the data based on a comparison of the priorities of the request message and the response message. In some cases, the transmitting UE may transmit the data if the transmitting UE does not receive any response message. A receiving UE may receive the request message and determine whether to transmit a response message based on the priority and/or the receive power of the request message.
