Abstract:
An oscillator circuit tuned by a voltage dependent variable capacitance diode is coupled to a mixer stage by a wide band injection circuit which includes a series connected inductor and capacitor adapted to series resonate at a frequency within the oscillator tuning range. A resistor interconnects the voltage dependent variable capacitance diode and a tuning bias potential supply. The resistor is of a value to cause the tuning of the oscillator circuit to track the tuning of the other circuits controlled by the bias supply.

1. A signal translating circuit comprising, AN INSULATED-GATE FIELD-EFFECT TRANSISTOR OF THE TYPE HAVING GATE, SOURCE AND DRAIN ELECTRODES FORMED ON A SEMICONDUCTOR SUBSTRATE, CIRCUIT MEANS COUPLED BETWEEN SAID GATE AND SOURCE ELECTRODES FOR ESTABLISHING AN OPERATING CHARACTERISTIC OF SAID TRANSISTOR, INPUT CIRCUIT MEANS COUPLED BETWEEN SAID SUBSTRATE AND SAID SOURCE ELECTRODE FOR APPLYING SIGNALS TO BE TRANSLATED, AND OUTPUT CIRCUIT MEANS COUPLED BETWEEN SAID SOURCE AND DRAIN ELECTRODES FOR DEVELOPING OUTPUT SIGNALS CORRESPONDING TO THOSE APPLIED BETWEEN SAID SUBSTRATE AND SAID SOURCE ELECTRODE.
Abstract:
A tunable resonant circuit includes a pair of inductors serially connected between input and output terminals. The parallel combination of a third inductor and a voltage-responsive capacitance device are coupled from the junction of the pair of inductors to a point of reference potential.
