    Abstract: A connection assembly for a respiratory therapy system, comprising: an outlet assembly, said outlet assembly including an outlet housing and a swivelling disc located on said outlet housing, said outlet housing and said swivelling disc defining, at least in part, a recess; an outlet connector located at an end of a tube portion, said outlet connector including an electrical connector; and a cable having a first end to connect to the electrical connector and a second end to connect to at least one electrical component of the respiratory therapy system, said cable having a slack portion, wherein said outlet connector and said swivelling disc are rotatable in unison between a first position and a second position, and wherein the slack portion of the cable extends from the recess and wraps around the swivelling disc as the swivelling disc is rotated from the first position to the second position.

    Abstract: A respiratory mask assembly (10) for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a frame (20) having a main body (20a) and a side frame member (20b) provided on each lateral side of the main body. Each side frame member includes an integrally formed first connector portion (34). A headgear assembly (80) is removably attachable to the frame. The headgear assembly has a second connector portion (82) adapted to be removably coupled with the first connector portion provided on the frame. The second connector portion is manually movable to a releasing position to detach the headgear assembly from the frame. The headgear assembly is rotationally adjustable with respect to the frame.     Abstract: A nasal mask assembly for nasal CPAP therapy, comprising: a mask frame; a silicone nasal seal which can be repeatedly detached from and reattached to the frame; an elbow rotatably coupled to the frame and adapted to connect to a gas delivery tube; and a headgear assembly to secure the frame and nasal seal to a patient's head. The headgear assembly includes a pair of relatively flexible, Y-shaped straps (84) having a relatively soft fabric and foam material construction, and a stiffening support structure (92) made of a relatively rigid material compared to the strap material. The stiffening support structure is attached to an outside surface of a portion of the pair of straps resting against the cheek regions in use. Mounting means (100) integral with the stiffening support structure is provided to detachably mount the headgear assembly relative to the frame.
