Abstract: A water dispenser (10) comprises a cabinet (20) having upper (40) and lower (20) end portions and an interior (16) and a reservoir (15) contained within the cabinet, capable of holding water; at least one spigot (90, 92) in fluid communication with the reservoir for dispensing water; a refrigeration system (32, 34) for cooling water within the reservoir; a diffuser (530) contained within the reservoir for emitting bubbles into the reservoir; an ozone generator (600) being operably connected to the diffuser and a controller (200) operably connected to the ozone generator. The controller is programmable regarding the timing and duration of ozone generated by the ozone generator and sent to the diffuser. The water dispenser further comprises a remote display (250) operably connected to the controller but spaced apart from the controller. The remote display has at least one indicator (252, 254, 256) regarding operation of the programmable controller.
