    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make any special circuit protecting element unnecessary, by a method wherein a discharging element is permitted to be employed for the protections of a power source circuit and a load commonly except the detection of overvoltage. CONSTITUTION:An AC input is rectified by a rectifying circuit constituted of diodes D1-D4, then, is smoothed by capacitors C1, C2 and is supplied to loads L1, L2 through a DC/DC converter. when a switch SW is opened, the rectifying circuit becomes a full wave rectifying circuit but it becomes a voltage multiplying rectifier when the switch is closed. The series connecting body of a resistor R and a discharge tube NL is connected between the terminals 3, 4 of the rectifying circuit. when the switch SW is closed by error or when the circuit is abnormal, the discharge tube NL is conducted and a current is conducted through the resistor R, therefore, a fuse F is blown to protect the title power source circuit and the loads.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to correct landing in any direction by storing the variation in the landing at the time of demagnetization in a certain direction and by accurately adjusting the landing correction on the basis of the obtained data. CONSTITUTION:With the switch of a color television turned ON, earth magnetism detection circuit 1 starts operating immediately and its detection voltage is stored in analog memory 4. Magnetic eraser 2, on the other hand, also operates immediately to erase magnetism. To landing correction circuit 3, a voltage obtained by multiplying by -1/2 the earth magnetic detection voltage at the time of magnetic erasing stored in analog memory 4 and the earth magnetic detection voltage detected invariably are both inputted. As a result, the correction value lessens when it remains at the magnetic erasing time and increases when the direction of the television is opposite. This phenomenon is equivalent to the correction after the magnetic erasing at every time when the direction is changed. Namely, the correction of the color television in a moving body becomes accurate.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain focus performance uniform over an entire screen. SOLUTION: A nonlinear inductor 3 is added to a series circuit consisting of a primary side coil of a dynamic focus transformer 1 and a control coil 2. Then a boosted parabolic waveform is obtained at a secondary coil of the dynamic focus transformer 1 by applying a pulse signal with a horizontal deflection frequency from a horizontal deflection circuit 4 to the series circuit. Furthermore, a synthesis circuit 5 synthesizes a waveform of a vertical deflection period with the parabolic waveform to form a dynamic focus voltage to be applied to a cathode ray tube 6. In this circuit, a coil 31 in which an optional magnetic body 32 or the like is inserted is adopted for the nonlinear inductor 3. Moreover, the characteristic of the inductor is obtained in such a way that the inductance is larger when the current is negative, for example and the inductance is smaller in the range the current is positive by the adjustment of the coil 31 and the magnetic body 32 or the like.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable automatic switching of circuits according to horizontal frequency through frequency discrimination with simple structure by resetting a counter for dividing an oscillating frequency of an oscillator with a horizontal synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal synchronizing signal supplied to a terminal 8 becomes a signal with the cycle of 1/47kHz when a horizontal synchronizing frequency is, for example, 47kHz and a counter 7 is reset after a signal of an output terminal QD is reversed. In contrast, when the frequency is 63kHz, the signal becomes a signal with the cycle of 1/63kHz and the counter is reset before the signal of the output terminal QD is reversed. Thus, a pulse signal is periodically obtained for the former, while an output with a predetermined potential is obtained for the latter. And an output signal is rectified through a diode 9 and supplied to a base of a transistor 12. Thus, from an open collector of the transistor 12, an output signal of low level is obtained when the horizontal synchronizing frequency of an input signal is 47kHz and that of high level is obtained when it is 63kHz.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform demagnetization of receiver as well as magnetic substance, by locating the demagnetizing power supply and winding of the demagnetizing unit near the magnetism sensing element. CONSTITUTION:The earth magnetism detector 1 has the magnetism sensing element 10, the demagnetizing unit 2 has normal demagnetizing power supply 13 and demagnetizing winding 12, and they are located near the magnetism sensing element 10. Further, when demagnetization is made to a direction, the correction toward the direction is reduced and the value is held when changed to other directions, and the value is again reset at the next demagnetization. Thus, the magnetic substance can be demagnetized at the same time when the receiver is demagnetized.
