Abstract:
In a teaching apparatus a memory (6) contains a first plurality of data units and a second plurality of data units each of which is related to a unit of the first plurality. Switches (2, 7 to 10) are provided for switching between the first and second pluralities of data units and for switching between the units within the selected plurality. Reading means (1, 5) are provided for reading a designated unit of data from the memory (6), based on a signal from the switches (2, 7 to 10), thus making it possible to access and reproduce any desired programme or item related to the programme. A control memory (in) may hold the addresses of the data units, and the reading means (1, 5) then obtains the address of the selected data unit from the control memory (4) and reads the data at that address.

A group education system including a first memory (9) for storing an original sentence group, a second memory (7A) for storing a starting address, an end address and a pause time of a sentence block of the original sentence group stored in the first memory, a control circuit (50) for controlling the selection of a playback mode and the reading order of the sentence blocks of the original sentence group stored in the first memory and the change of a pause time thereof and a third memory (7B) for storing the reading order, the starting address, the end address and the pause time altered of the selected sentence block under the control of the control circuit. Accordingly, it becomes possible to form easily a sentence group in which the playback mode and the reproducing order of the selected sentence block are selected and the pause time between the sentence blocks is changed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby a transmission direction of connection terminals of a terminal apparatus can automatically be set at application of power without the need for fixing the transmission direction of the connection terminals in advance in the case of connection works of the terminal apparatus. SOLUTION: The terminal apparatus includes a function whereby the transmission direction of the connection terminals of the terminal apparatus can automatically be set at application of power without the need for fixing the transmission direction of the connection terminals in advance. Concretely, each of all terminal apparatuses intermittently outputs a connection confirmation code in two-way at the same time when power is applied and autonomously discriminates positional relationships on a transmission line depending on the presence/absence of the reception of the code from its adjacent terminal apparatuses. Then the terminal apparatuses located at both ends exchange respective identification codes with each other and autonomously confirm which of them has to act like a terminal apparatus on the uppermost stream and the confirmed terminal apparatus transmits a direction confirmation code to all the other terminal apparatuses. Thus, an installer of a data transmission system can build up the data transmission system and operate it by having only to connect the terminal apparatuses simply in cascade. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the number of channels which are allowed in a prescribed period by controlling track numbers in such a way that they mutually change in increase or decrease direction at every prescribed period when a reproduction signal is distributed. CONSTITUTION:A micro computer 8 reads the track numbers of the channel reproduced in subsequent frame time from a memory 9, and stores them in a memory 10A and the track numbers are rearranged in a memory 10B in a large order or a small order. The micro computer 8 reads the content of the memory 10B, the track number TN is supplied to a disk reproduction device 1, and a channel number CN to a channel selector 7, which outputs reproduction data to the channel designated by the channel number CN. Consequently, the shift quantity of the head on the disk can be set to be a minimum by the control and the number of the channels allowed as to prescribed frame time can be increased.
