A group education system including a first memory (9) for storing an original sentence group, a second memory (7A) for storing a starting address, an end address and a pause time of a sentence block of the original sentence group stored in the first memory, a control circuit (50) for controlling the selection of a playback mode and the reading order of the sentence blocks of the original sentence group stored in the first memory and the change of a pause time thereof and a third memory (7B) for storing the reading order, the starting address, the end address and the pause time altered of the selected sentence block under the control of the control circuit. Accordingly, it becomes possible to form easily a sentence group in which the playback mode and the reproducing order of the selected sentence block are selected and the pause time between the sentence blocks is changed.

A camera including a casing (10) in which a video camera unit for shooting a movie picture and a still camera unit (76) for shooting a still picture are disposed, thereby enabling movie and still pictures to be shot at the same time. A housing (28) to contain the still camera unit (76) is rotable with respect to the casing (10), which exposes an opening of the housing (10) to load a film (102) by a drop-in loading. Since the housing (28) containing the still camera unit (76) rotates toward the front side of the casing (10), it is not necessary to reserve a space for a backward movement of the cap member (32a) of the still camera unit (76), which enables the camera to be designed in compact.

MONITORING APPARATUS FOR TRAINING DEVICES A monitoring apparatus for training devices has control switches for selecting audio signals output from a plurality of respective training devices arranged in columns and rows and for obtaining an output signal to be monitored, scanning direction selectors actuable for selecting a scanning direction from the directions of the columns and rows, respectively, and coordinate step advancing devices operable in one of the column and row directions in response to actuation of the respective scanning direction selector for causing the control switches to successively select oneby-one the audio signals output from the training devices which are successively arranged in the selected column or row scanning direction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an accurate voiceprint data without depending on CPU specifications or the like when producing and authenticating the voiceprint data for each speech data for a predetermined time interval from speech data of natural conversations. SOLUTION: The speech processing device comprises; a voiceprint authentication means 31 which extracts the voiceprint from the speech data for a predetermined time interval, and performs voiceprint processing for identifying an utterer by comparing the extracted voiceprint with speech data stored in a storage means 32 with data of the utterer pre-correlated; an accumulation processing means 34 for temporarily accumulating speech data inputted from the outside in an accumulation means 33; a loading means 36 for loading the speech data for each predetermined time interval from the accumulation means 33; and a filing means 37 for converting the speech data for each predetermined time interval loaded by the loading means 36 into a speech file and sequentially transferring the speech files to the voiceprint authentication means 31.
