Abstract: A television camera/recorder comprises a television camera unit for converting a scene into corresponding electrical signals, and a VTR for recording the electrical signals provided by the television camera unit and reproducing the recorded electrical signals. The signals reproduced by the VTR are converted into carrier television signals by an internal RF converter, and the carrier television signals are sent to an external television receiver through a first output jack connected by a cord to the external television receiver. The television camera/recorder may be additionally provided with an adapter capable of being detachably connected to a case containing the television camera unit, the VTR unit and the RF converter and provided with a second output jack capable of being connected to the first output jack provided on the case when the adapter is joined to the case.

Abstract: A processing circuit for a composite color television signal formed of a chrominance component and a luminance component includes a comb filter of the type including a 1H delay line. In order to process the chrominance component, the comb filter is followed by an operational circuit providing a difference signal representing vertical correlation of the input chrominance component for consecutive line intervals, and a feedback loop circuit for combining the input chrominance component with the feedback difference signal before application to the comb filter. A detecting circuit detects correlation of video information in the luminance component in vertically aligned portions of successive horizontal line intervals, and provides a detecting signal which is used to adjust the feedback loop gain on the feedback loop circuit in accordance with the detecting signal. The processing circuit can further comprise a luminance comb filter including the delay line and an additive combining circuit, which is followed by a subtractive combining circuit and a band pass filter having an input connected to an output of the subtractive combining circuit and an output connected to an input of the latter. This circuit gives the luminance comb filter a flat frequency transfer characteristic. In the detecting circuit, a delay circuit is provided formed of a pre-emphasis circuit, an AM modulator, a delay line, an AGC circuit, an AM detecter, a de-emphasis circuit, and a low pass filter.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a band utilization factor and to enable receiving that has high articulation by making a passband variable according to a received FM signal and compressing frequency shift of a modulation signal that has undergone preemphasis. SOLUTION: In a variable delay circuit 42, a delay amount of an FM frequency Δw is controlled by an integration circuit 47, and further, calculation with a modulation coefficient rad/v (Kf) is performed. An FM detection circuit 44 performs operation by using a demodulation coefficient v/rad (Kd) through a BPF 43, and an FM demodulation signal y' is demodulated. An amplifier circuit 45 amplifies the signal y' based on a variable feedback gain Ka. The circuit 47 controls the delay amount of a variable delay circuit 42, in accordance with the amplified FM demodulation signal y'. The deemphasis circuit 48 performs deemphasis processing of a demodulation output (FM demodulation signal) from an adder 46.
