Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable to detect the location of unrequired signal causing ghost, by providing the variable phase circuit varying the phase of the carrier picked up from TV signal by 360°.
CONSTITUTION: Although the video carrier in 58.75 MHz from the carrier pick up circuit 7 is fed to the synchronizing detection circuit 6 via the variable phase circuit 8, the control signal Sp is fed to the circuit 8 via the counter 10 of 180 notation and the wave shape circuit 11, and the amount of phase shift is varied by 2° every one step of Sp, and the phase of carrier can be changed to 360° at one period.
