    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve adhesive property, wear resistance and solvent resistance, by using a 3-functional urethane acrylic resin as a binder component of electron ray curing type. CONSTITUTION:Trifunctional acrylic resin expressed in general formula (where; R is a lower alkyl group, R1-R3 are lower alkylene group, m is 0 or 1, n1-n3 are 1-8, and uA is diisocyanate acid radical), and a thermoplastic resin such as a urethane resin, polyvinyl resins, and cellulose derivatives are mixed in about 95/5-20/80 mixing ratio, magnetic powder is mixed to a binder having about 25-80 deg.C glass transition temperature to form a magnetic paint, which is coated on a base, and curing is done by irradiating electron rays of >= about 100keV.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium which has a magnetic layer having high cross-linking density, large modulus of elasticity, and excellent wear resistance, by utilizing cross-linking reaction by irradiating an acrrylic oligomer with an electron beam. CONSTITUTION:With a 100pts.wt. resin mixture consisting of 30-80pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin and 70-20pts.wt. rubber resin, a 10-200pts.wt. acrylic oligomer having >=3 functions, such as the reaction product of trimethylolpropane and 2-hydroxyethyl(meth)acrylate, the reaction product of pentaerythritol and 2- hydroxyethyl(meth)acrylate, and the reaction product of dipentaerythritol and 2-hydroxyethy(meth)acrylate, is mixed to obtain a binder. Magnetic paint which uses the said binder is applied to a base and irradiated with an electron beam, thus obtaining a magnetic recording medium of cross-linking structure by the cross-linking reaction of the acrylic oligomer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain electrical appliance parts, e.g. VTR head drum materials, head mold materials, etc. without forming resin layers on the surfaces, by rotating a liquid molding material containing a filler at a high speed immediately before hardening. CONSTITUTION:A liquid molding material containing a filler, e.g. graphite, glass fiber, etc. is rotated at a normal acceleration at the periphery of 5-200G immediately before the hardening. The filler having a higher specific gravity moved to the periphery of the molded article, air bubbles having a lower specific gravity, to the center of the article. The formation of the resin skin layer is thus prevented to give a symmetrical roto molded article.
