Abstract:
In an optical element, a large number of structures, each of which is composed of a protruding section or a recessed section, are arranged on a surface of a base body at a fine pitch smaller than the wavelength of visible light. The structures are arranged to form a plurality of rows of circular tracks on the surface of the base body and to form a quasi-hexagonal grid pattern. The structure is an elliptical cone or an elliptical cone trapezoid having a long axis direction in the circumference direction of the circular track.
Abstract:
In an optical device, a number of structures having higher portions or lower portions are arranged at a fine pitch equal to or shorter than a wavelength of visible light on a surface of a base. Each of the structures is arranged to form a plurality of arc track rows on the surface of the base, and to form a quasi-hexagonal lattice pattern, and the structure has an elliptical cone or truncated elliptical cone shape having a major axis in a circumferential direction of the arc tracks.

PURPOSE:To improve residual magnetic flux density, rectangular ratio and packing density by improvement of dispersibility of magnetic powders using a high purity product of lecithin for pre-treatment of magnetic powders, resulting in excellent surface characteristics and abrasion resistance of magnetic tape.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce a transferred image having a hue extremely close to that of an original and prevent a fusion phenomenon from occurring between an ink ribbon and a copying paper, by constituting a binder of a resin having a glass transition point of higher than the sublimation starting temperature of a dye and a resin poorly compatible with the above resin and having a glass transition point of lower than the sublimation starting temperature of the dye. CONSTITUTION:The binder is constituted of a resin having a glass transition point of higher than the sublimation starting temperature of a dye and a resin poorly compatible with the above resin and having a glass transition point of lower than the sublimation starting temperature of the dye. An example of the resin having a glass transition point of higher than the sublimation starting temperature (namely, 120 deg.C) of the sublimable dye (the resin in hereinafter referred to as resin A) is cellulose acetate or ethyl cellulose. An example of the resin poorly compatible with resin A and having a glass transition point of lower than the sublimation starting temperature of the dye (this resin is hereinafter referred to as resin B) is polystyrene (PS) or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It is preferable to use resin B in a quantity of 5-30wt% of the total weight of the binder resins.

PURPOSE:To improve hardening speed, hardened degree and wearing property by using a specific organic tin-system catalyst to harden one or both of an OH radical-containing (pre-) polymer and an urethane combination-containing (pre-) polymer with a multifunctional isocyanate. CONSTITUTION:Due to existence of the organic Sn-system catalyst indicated by the expression (R1 and R2 are linear chain alkyl of saturation and unsaturation of C1-C6; R3 and R4 are linear chained alkyl of saturation and unsaturation of C11- C17), one or both of an OH-containing (pre-) polymer (such as a polyol) and an urethane combination-containing (pre-) polymer are hardened by a multifunctional isocyanate. The catalyst of 0.15-0.7 weight part is used for polymers and the isocyanate of 100 weight part. A dispersant and a lubricant, etc., are mixed into the composite above and magnetic powder to produce a magnetic tape. Thus, the tape where the pot life is long and Tg is improved and drop-out of magnetic powder is small in running is obtained.
