    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly reproduce a record medium requested from a user even at a device initialization time by storing the top part data on the requested recording medium in a sub-storage means when the user requests the reproduction of the specified recording medium at the device initialization time, storing the data after the top part data in a main storage means and reproducing the requested recording medium. SOLUTION: At the device initialization time, when the user requests the MD 1a as the specified MD, a system controller 11 controls a stage controller 33 and a loading controller 34, etc., and loads the MD 1a on a player box 32, and reads the top part data of the MD 1a to store them in a top part area of a RAM 12. Thereafter, the system controller 11 reads out the top part data from the RAM 12 to start to reproduce them, and succeedingly, stores the data after the top part data in the main memory area of the RAM 12. Thus, at the device initialization time, the MD 1a requested by the user is reproduced rapidly and continuously from the top part without breaking a sound.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high speed recording with a sufficient margin in an attitude error even when a variety of fluctuation factors are caused by generating a control pulse for respective switching elements of a magnetic head drive means based on the encoded data and making the width of the control pulse for the switching element connected to a power source a specified length answering to the inversion of the encoded data. SOLUTION: The widths of the control pulses Sig 3 and Sig 4 for the switching element functioning at a magnetic field inversion operation are made less than 1/2 of a unit time. A clock frequency variable part 21 N multiplies a clock frequency from a clock generation part 20, and generates a clock of a high speed rate of 1/N. A regular rate clock from the clock generation part 20 and the high speed rate clock from the variable part 21 are selected by switching operation of a switch 22 according to a switch signal Sel from a system controller 11 to be supplied to an encoder 14 and a control signal generation circuit 15 as a processing clock CK. A change in a head current is steepened.

The gain |G1 | of the servo filter 11 at a disk rotational frequency (f0 ) is set larger than the gain |G2 | of the servo filter 12, and the servo filter 11 of a large gain is connected in regular tracking, and the servo filter 12 of a small gain is connected in the track jump. After the track jump, the servo filter 11 is connected again, and returnes to regular tracking.

SOLUTION: This recorder using the magneto-optical disk 1 is provided with the optical pickup 8 and the magnetic head 12 arranged on the position opposing to each other holding the magneto-optical disk 1 rotated by a disk rotation drive mechanism 7 between them. Then, the magnetic head 12 is connected to the optical pickup device 8 through supporting members 11a, 11b consisting of metallic plate, and is moved and operated in the radial direction of the magneto-optical disk 1 synchronized with the optical pickup device 8. Further, the magnetic head 12 is attached/detached to/from the magneto-optical disk 1 interlocked with turning movement of a cap 2b.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly discriminate the polarity of an error voltage to perform rotational control on a disk. SOLUTION: The error voltage comprising a large amt. of variation due to noise is impressed upon an LPF 31, and a high frequency component due to noise is removed. Then, the error voltage to be supplied via the LPF 31 and a voltage at a reference level, for example, zero level are supplied to a comparator 32. These two voltages are compared with each other in size by the comparator 32 to output a signal showing the polarity corresponding to a result of the comparison. Thus, by removing the high frequency component comprised in the error voltage to be supplied to the comparator 32 by means of the LPF 31, a polarity signal in good quality with reduced variation caused by noise can be obtained.

An optical system consisting of a laser diode as a laser output means, a polarization beam splitter, an objective lens 3a, etc., and a detector for detecting the reflected light are, therefore, mounted on the optical head 3. The objective lens 3a is made displaceable in the radial direction of the disk and in a direction where the lens attaches and detaches to and from the disk 1 by a biaxial mechanism 4. The entire part of the optical head 3 is made movable in the radial direction of the disk by a threading mechanism 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the recording and retrieving speeds of files by performing the recording and reproduction of information at a transfer speed corresponding to the rotating speed of a disk for the magneto-optical disk, which is rotated and controlled. CONSTITUTION:In a drive/optical pickup part 14, an optical pickup comprising a laser diode LD 53, a photodetector PD 52 and the like, and a magnetic-field modulating coil 51 as a magnetic-field generator are controlled at the same time. Thus, the compressed data or the non-compressed binary data are recorded on a disk 15. The detected signal from the PD 52 is sent into a signal processing circuit 62. At the time of recording into the disk 15, various kinds of servo signals are obtained. At the time of reproduction the servo signal is obtained, and a reading signal is obtained at the same time. The circuit 62 performs the control, by which the laser power of the LD 53 is made to be specified times in comparison with that in the linear velocity of a standard specification at the time of data recording into the disk 15. The circuit 62 obtains the servo signal and the reading signal by using the PD detected signal from the disk 15, which is rotated at the linear velocity from, e.g. 2.4m/s to 2.8 m/s.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect and reproduce important data even if a burst error section fluctuates at a connection recording part by writing the head data of main data in multiples for each specific amount of data to be recorded in connection. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal is input to an input terminal 31 on recording. The signal is compressed by an audio compression encoder/decoder circuit 33 through an A/D converter 32 and is temporarily stored at a buffer memory 35 under the control of a memory controller 34. On the other hand, sub data information is input to a sub-data encoder 51 and the sub-data blocks for 32 frames are generated and are sent to a multi-writing circuit 52. The circuit 52 outputs the same sub-data blocks to the controller 34 for three times continuously. The controller 34 temporarily stores the sub data at a predetermined sub-data area of the memory 35 and transmits the sub data which are triply written are sent to a circuit 36 when transferring data for one class and a head drive circuit 38 records the data via a circuit 37.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To relieve the influence of a magnetic field relating to a magnetic head by arranging an electromagnetic shield member in the vicinity of the magnetic field head and arranging the magnetic head movably in the electromagnetic shield member. CONSTITUTION:The shield ring 22 of the electromagnetic member is inserted to the circumference of the magnetic field head 8. The shield ring 22 consists of an annular member corresponding to the outside dimension of a head holder, and is formed by the quality of the material with a small electric resistance and loaded and fixed on the head holder. The magnetic field required for the magnetic field head 8 is a component in a perpendicular direction facing to a magneto-optical disk 3 side, and the component of the magnetic field in a horizontal direction is absorbed by the shield ring 22. Thus, an adverse influence due to the magnetic the component of the magnetic field in the horizontal direction among the magnetic fields generated by the magnetic field head 8. Further, in the countermeasure for the magnetic field and electric field, the driving circuit of the magnetic field head 8 comes to be a target by using a metallic frame 23, and the countermeasure is simplified.

Further, the coupling address information enables coupling even if a series of data indicating the coupling destination of another data recording area from one area A21 is divided and recorded in plural areas.
