Abstract:
A disc reproducing apparatus (1) for reproducing a disc (15) on which at least image data in addition to audio data have been recorded. The disc reproducing apparatus comprises: means for forming a video signal on the basis of the image data; reproducing means for reproducing the video signal; input means for inputting control information to control the video signal reproduced; and control means for controlling the reproduction of the video signal on the basis of the control information and for allowing input information indicative of control information which can be input to be reproduced together with the video signal by the input of the control information during the reproduction of the video signal.
Abstract:
An information processing device and method for accurately controlling DMA transfer of data present in a memory with a simple hardware configuration. A memory (33) is provided with a descriptor table (T0) corresponding to a queue (Q0) and a descriptor table (T1) corresponding to a queue (Q1). In resistors (R0, R1) of a descriptor control section (51), the number of the descriptor constituting the descriptor table (T0) and the number of the descriptor constituting the descriptor table (T1) are recorded, respectively. In caches (C0, C1) of a descriptor acquiring section (52), the descriptors of the descriptor tables (T0, T1) are recorded, respectively. A descriptor selecting section (53) selects one of the caches (C0, C1) according to a predetermined rule. The invention can be applied to all the electronic devices which perform DMA transfer.
Abstract:
A disc reproducing apparatus for reproducing video image data and audio data recorded on a disc wherein control operation icons are displayed on the same display screen for displaying the reproduced video image and the operations represented by the displayed icons may be selected by the user of the apparatus by activating separate operation keys corresponding to the displayed icons.
Abstract:
IN AN IMAGING APPARATUS, AN IMAGE IS TO BE DISPLAYED IN REAL-TIME ON A FINDER. IN THE FINDER MODE,A CCD INTERFACE (21A) THINS OUT HORIZONTAL COMPONENTS OF IMAGE DATA SUPPLIED FROM AN IMAGE GENERATING UNIT (10) TO ONE-THIRD AND ALSO EFFECTS GAMMA CORRECTION ETC TO SEND THE RESULTING IMAGE DATA A CAMERA DSP (21C). THE CAMERA DSP (21C) EFFECTS DATA CONVERSION AND RESOLUTION CONVERSION ON THE IMAGE DATA RESULTING FROM THE THINNING TO CONVERT THE DATA INTO Y, CB AND IMAGE DATA WHICH IS ROUTED TO A MEMORY CINTROLLER (22). THE MEMORY CONTROLLER (22) WRITES THE IMAGE DATA IN THE IMAGE MEMORY (32) AND READS OUT THE DATA FROM THE MEMORY CONTROLLER 22 TO ROUTE THE READ-OUT DATA OVER AN IMAGE DATA BUS (33) TO AN NTSC/PAL ENCODER (23) CONVERTS THE IMAGE DATA IN RESOLUTION AND FURTHER CONVERTS THE IMAGE DATA INTO DATA OF THE NTSC OR PAL SYSTEM TO ROUTE THE RESULTING DATA TO A FINDER.FIGURE 3

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more smoothly output a frame image by allowing a server side to predict reception delay of the frame image in a client while streaming the frame image generated in real time.SOLUTION: An image processor is provided, including: a renderer for generating a frame image in real time; an encoder for encoding the frame image to generate encoded data; a transmission section for transmitting the encoded data to a client device for decoding the encoded data to output the frame image through a network; and a control section for predicting a delay increase generated while receiving the encoded data in the client device, and controlling a generation interval of the frame image by the renderer on the basis of the prediction.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize remote wakeup by detecting a sleep mode release data sequence, using a network card made compatible with parallel transfer. SOLUTION: The sleep mode release data sequence is configured, such that prefix data in 4 bytes whose values are all FFh are repeated by a prescribed number of times n (e.g. four times), principal data, comprising a0 being the least significant byte of a MAC address composed of 4 bytes; a1 corresponding to a second byte of the MAC address composed of 4 bytes; a2 composed of 4 bytes; a3 composed of 4 bytes; a4 composed of 4 bytes; and the most significant byte a5 composed of 4 bytes, in succession are repeated by a prescribed number of times m (e.g. eight times), and postfix data in 4 bytes whose values are all FFh are repeated by a prescribed number of times p (e.g. three times). The sleep mode release data sequence is inserted to an optional part and received by four lanes, and the same lane sleep mode release data sequence is received by any lane. The technology relating to the present invention can be applied to network nodes for personal computers or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
