Abstract: PURPOSE:To supply power to a camcorder and to provide a battery charging function on the camcorder by providing a terminal through which power is supplied to a connection device and a guide guiding the accommodation of the connection device on a container part. CONSTITUTION:An AC adaptor 54 has a power supply connection cord 55. Two guide projections 56 arranged in parallel are formed to the upper face of the AC adaptor 54 and two parallel recessed grooves 57 are formed to a rear side. Abstract: PURPOSE:To rapidly attach/detach a camcorder to/from a connecting device through one touch operation by providing a shutter opening mechanism and an interlocking terminal part pop mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When the camcorder 100 is placed on the main body of the connecting device 1 to which other electric equipment such as a TV is connected and allowed to slide, a shutter plate 16 provided in the device 1 is opened by the shutter opening mechanism 14, and the signal input/output terminal part 34 of the terminal part pop mechanism 23 is projected from an aperture part 15 by interlocking with the opening. Then, the terminal part 34 is electrically connected to each terminal part 121 of the camcorder 100 placed on the device 1. By such constitution, the camcorder 100 is electrically connected to the device 1 without using a cable through one touch operation, and it is rapidly attached to and detached from the device 1.

A housing 50 has a spring guide 55b for guiding the coil winding part 54a protruded on the inner wall surface of a contact housing part 55, and a cover 52 has a spring pressing rib 72 fitted to the housing part 55 formed thereon. Thus, the coil winding part 54a of the contact 54 can be automatically assembled in a determined position along the guide surface of the guide 55b. Since the contact 54 has a torsion spring formed thereon, further, a sufficient spring length can be provided without enlarging the outer dimension, contact reliability is improved, and a connector plug can be miniaturized.
