Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a divided wavelength plate filter, having excellent pattern accuracy, uniform thickness and in-plane uniformity, accuracy with respect to a pixel part of a three-dimensional image display device, and having high reproducibility and mass-productivity. SOLUTION: According to this method of manufacturing a divided wavelength plate filter, after an alignment film material layer 8 is printed on the whole surface of a substrate 209, it is locally rubbed, and after a photo polymerization monomer layer 12 serving as a divided wavelength plate 208 is printed over or in a division pattern on the obtained alignment layer, the photo polymerization monomer layer 12 is polymerized or aligned by exposure. Alternatively, the photo polymerization monomer layer 12 serving as the divided wavelength plate 208 is printed on the whole surface of the substrate 209, and after the photo polymerization monomer layer is polymerized by exposure, the polymer layer is locally rubbed for alignment. Thus, the divided wavelength plate 208 having uniform thickness, in-plane uniformity and reproducibility can be manufactured by the method having good accuracy and mass productivity. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a split wavelength plate filter excellent in pattern accuracy, uniform thickness and in-plane uniformity and having high reproducibility and high productivity so as to accurately handle the pixel part of a stereoscopic picture display device. SOLUTION: A split wavelength plate material layer 3 is printed on a substrate 11 as a second base body, an adhesive layer 2a is formed in a specified pattern on a substrate 209 as a first base body and the split wavelength plate material layer 3 is transferred to the substrate 209 through the adhesive layer 2a to form a split wavelength plate 208 by transferring. As a result, the split wavelength plate 208 having uniform thickness and in-plane uniformity and having high reproducibility is produced by the method having high productivity. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic vision image processing device, a stereoscopic vision image displaying method, and a computer program for stereoscopically displaying images resulting from subjecting them to rotation, or rotation and mirror inverted for displaying each visual point image. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image processor for displaying a plurality of visual point images having mutual parallax makes a plurality of the visual point images rotated and manages the plurality of visual point images together with image control information, with respect to the plurality of visual point images. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To write arbitrary characters or the like which can be stereoscopically viewed into an image which can be stereoscopically viewed. SOLUTION: In a step S51, a text input area is displayed so as to be overlapped on a stereoscopic image displayed on an main area. When the user inputs arbitrary characters or the like into the text input area, the characters are overlapped on the stereoscopic image so that the inputted characters can be stereoscopically viewed in a predetermined scenographic manner. When it is decided that a "Near" button was depressed in a step S52, the characters are overlapped on the stereoscopic image so that the inputted characters can be stereoscopically viewed nearer in a scenographic manner in a step S53. When it is decided that a "Far" button was depressed in a step S54, the characters are overlapped on the stereoscopic image so that the inputted characters can be stereoscopically viewed farther in a scenographic manner in a step S55. This method may be applicable to an image processing program. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording and reproducing apparatus which can deal with the fine track pitch of a magnetic tape and in which a cartridge constituting a recording and reproducing mechanism part can be made more compact. SOLUTION: In a recording and reproducing mechanism part, a feed-side tape reel 8 and a take-up-side tape reel 9 are arranged at two upper and lower stages coaxially with a reel shaft 20, and a magnetic tape 10 which is pulled out from the feed-side tape reel 8 is wound on a rotating head drum 16 to be an '8' shape so as to be taken up on the take-up-side tape reel 9. A cartridge 5 is constituted in such a way that the recording and reproducing mechanism part is sealed airtightly inside a cartridge enclosure so as to be built in. Then, a connector 6 which is provided with the cartridge 5 is inserted into, and attached to, a video camera apparatus body 1, and a recording and reproducing operation by a digital signal can be performed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably easily and precisely photograph a stereoscopic video without causing any deviation in the height directions of right and left videos in a video equipment for photographing the stereoscopic video of a stereoscopic photograph type capable of positioning the video of one eye in the right half of a screen and the video of another eye in the left half of the screen. SOLUTION: A stereoscopic photographing template 1 is inserted into a gap between LCD (liquid crystal display device) 5 and the frame part 6 in a small monitor 4 of camcorder 3 to which a stereoscopic photographing adapter 2 is attached. Vertical and lateral lines 7, 8R, 8L, 9R, 9L and 10 for displaying the center positions of the right and left videos are drawn in the template 1. At the time of stereoscopic photographing, the intersections of the lines of the right and left videos are simultaneously adjusted to the same parts of an object to be stereoscopically photographed so as to photograph it.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeglass device that views a stereoscopic video image that has a function of viewing a video image displayed on a screen as a stereoscopic video image or a function of viewing only one of two screen displays and makes a displayed video image selectable and provides an output of an audio signal of the selected video image in addition. SOLUTION: Headphones 7L, 7R to hear sound are fitted to the eyeglass for a stereoscopic video image, two separate video signals are displayed in place of the stereoscopic video image viewed by left and right eyes and either of both the viewing methods is at first selected. In the case of selecting viewing video signals of two programs, only one of the two programs is viewed and the sound of the selected program is outputted from the headphones 7L, 7R.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project an image by a single image projection means and to observe a stereoscopic image or the like by polarized glasses of simple constitution. SOLUTION: An image based on a video signal having different contents in each field is projected and a liquid crystal shutter 21 provided with an one- side optical shutter part 22 and an otherside optical shutter part 22 divided through an approximate half of a projected beam 26 is arranged on the optical path of the projected beam 26. Both shutter parts 22, 23 are successively and alternately controlled to pass/interrupt the projected beam 26 synchronously with the field frequency of a video signal and a beam passed through the shutter part 22 and a beam passed through the shutter part 23 are projected to a screen as polarized beams having mutually different polarizing directions.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projecting device which is very compact, and is inexpensive and where a large video and a stereoscopic video having feeling of presence are easily enjoyed by a large number of people. SOLUTION: The video projecting device 1 is constituted of a liquid crystal video projector 10 and an adapter device 20 bisecting projected light from the liquid crystal video projector 10 and shifting the light in mutually orthogonal polarization directions so as to project it to be deviated on a screen 2. The adapter device 20 is constituted of an edge prism 21 having two sufaces (the surfaces of left and right side parts 21L and 21R) whose refractive directions in a horizontal direction are different so as to bisect the projected light from the liquid crystal video projector 10, a pair of hook-shaped attaching parts 22 integrally projectingly formed on both sides of the edge prism 21 and attached at the cylindrical part 15 of the liquid crystal video projector 10 so as to be freely attachable and detachable and a 1/2 wavelength plate 23 stuck to the half (the rear of the right side part 21R) of the rear of the edge prism 21.
