PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an undesired control command from being transmitted in the case that a device to be controlled is controlled through a communication channel. SOLUTION: A photographed image 100 transmitted from an image pickup device is displayed on a display section of the controller to which the image pickup device that is a device to be controlled through a communication channel and a menu with buttons 101-104 for tilting and panning is displayed around the image 100. The menu includes also a pan/tilting home button 105 that is used to a panned and tilted image pickup device to its home position, an all- clear button 109 that clears entirely button operations having so far been entered, and a slide button 107 for zooming. Suppose that the user operates the buttons 101, 102, the slide button 107 and the pan/tilting home button 105 in this order, the display colors of the buttons are changed respectively into red, green, yellow and blue colors to indicate the sequence of execution. Then corresponding control commands are transmitted sequentially in the operation in this order and the display color of the button corresponding to the control command whose execution is finished is restored to the original display color.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus with an imaging device, inexpensively manufacturable, capable of collecting sufficient amount of light in the imaging device, and further capable of facilitating acquiring an image of a user facing an image display unit.SOLUTION: The image display apparatus with the imaging device has: an image display unit 10 in which a plurality of pixels including light-emitting elements are arranged; a light transmissive sections 30 provided respectively to the plurality of pixels; an imaging device 20 arranged at the back side of the image display unit 10; and light collecting means 21 for collecting light passed through the plurality of light transmissive sections 30 to the imaging device 20. The image display unit 10 has a light shielding layer 65, an opening 65A is provided in a part of the light shielding layer 65, and the light transmissive sections 30 comprise the opening 65A and the part of an interlayer insulating layer 41 located below the opening 65A.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a pick-up image using a required imaging optical system by a signal processing using light beam information.SOLUTION: Storage sections 21 and 31 store correction operation information and image composition information for each piece of optical characteristic information of an imaging optical system. A selecting section 22 selects correction operation information according to the optical characteristic information of an imaging optical system during the creation of light beam information including information about the path of a light beam entering via the imaging optical system and an information about a quantity of light. A selecting section 32 selects image composition operation information corresponding to the optical characteristic information of a required imaging optical system. A data converting section 23 calculates light beam information of the light beam entering the imaging optical system during the creation of the light beam information. An image mixing section 33 operates using light beam information calculated by the data converting section 23 and the selected image composition operation information, and creates image data for an image picked up via the required imaging optical system.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable control of the stereoscopic effect of multi-viewpoint images.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: a viewpoint separating unit that separates multi-viewpoint image data representing intensity distribution of light and the travelling direction of the light by the position and pixel value of each pixel and including images of multiple viewpoints, such as captured images obtained by being captured by a light field camera, into a plurality of pieces of single-viewpoint image data for the respective viewpoints; and a parallax control unit that controls an amount of parallax between the plurality of pieces of single-viewpoint image data obtained by being separated into the respective viewpoints by the viewpoint separating unit. The present disclosure can be applied to an image processing device.

SOLUTION: In a display section 27 composed of organic electronic luminescent display elements, coefficient division sections 351 to 353 predict current values required, in the display section 27, for displaying an image to be displayed next based on a pixel value of the image to be displayed next, and a duty setting section 403 controls luminance of the display section 27 based on the predicted current values. They are displayed according to a blended value intermediate between the first remaining amount of the battery and a second remaining amount of the battery based on a current integrated value during the period where the first remaining amount of the battery is from the above rate to 0%. SOLUTION: The information collection system is made up of a detector that collects information, a communication relay device 2 that relays communication, and an external controller 3 that processes the information and controls the system. The detector 1 has an image pickup means consisting of a lens block 101 or the like, a communication means and a traveling means including wheels 141 for self-running a case, the communication relay device 2 has a communication means consisting of a light emitting element 25 and a photodetector and a placing base having a connector guide 23 and with the detector 1 placed thereon, and the external controller 3 is provided with a communication means and information processing means that analyzes information data and state data to control the entire system.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling equipment provided with a means for preventing the equipment FROM falling the terminal part of a traveling surface in all traveling directions. SOLUTION: A terminal part detecting sensor 22 arranged on the base part of traveling equipment 10a is composed of a light emitting part 26 for irradiating a traveling surface 14 with prescribed light and a light receiving part 28 for receiving the reflected light reflected from the traveling surface 14. As long as the light receiving part 28 receives the reflected light from the traveling surface 14, the traveling equipment 10a is traveled on the traveling surface 14 sufficiently away from the terminal part of a stand 12 but when the light receiving part 28 does not receive the reflected light from the traveling surface 14 any more, the traveling equipment 10a gets closer to the terminal part of the stand 12 and reaches the limit of moving just before falling. Therefore, the signal of such a state is transmitted from the terminal detecting sensor 22 to a control part, a pair of wheels are stopped being rotated by ignoring an operating instruction based on a traveling control signal from an infrared remote controller and the travel of the traveling equipment 10a is stopped.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot camera with which a pet operation suited with the taste of a user can be performed in addition to main operation and that operation can be enjoyed. SOLUTION: When an agent card(AC) 1 is mounted on a robot camera 2 for recognizing and tracing an object, the original pet operation regardless of an operation input is performed without executing the recognizing/tracing operation of the operation input with robot camera 2 corresponding to the state of the pet of an internal state object, and the pet operation image of the robot camera 2 is displayed on the LCD of the AC 1 extracted from a display 7 or robot camera 2. When operation in response to the request of the pet is performed on a screen by the keyboard operation of a mouse 41 or AC 1, the state of the pet is improved, the state of enabling the execution of operation according to the operation input is started and by performing the pet operation suited with the taste of the user in addition to the high- accuracy main tracing operation over wide range together with the recognition of the object through the robot camera 2, the robot camera 2 can be comfortably used while being suited with the taste of the user.
