Abstract: The device has a power control circuit (PCtrl) providing a control signal that takes signal presence and signal absence states representing presence and absence of a modulated signal, respectively. AND gate deactivates and activates demodulation circuits, to avoid their desynchronization and to enable rapid starting of demodulation when the control signal passes from the presence state to the absence state and vice versa, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a system for receiving a modulated signal, having a demodulator device.
