Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce size and weight, to simplify operation, and to increase a response speed by a method wherein a variable pitch propeller device for an outboard motor for a small high speed ship comprises a rack engaged with a pinion and a rack operating means to reciprocate the rack, and through operation of the rack operating means, the pitch angle of a propeller is varied. CONSTITUTION:When a rack 46 is operated by means of a rack operating means and an adjust screw 37 is rotated by means of a pinion 45 engaged with the rack 46, a screw part 37A is joined in a screwed-in state with a fixed nut 42, whereby the adjust screw 37 is reciprocated through rotation. Thereby, a control rod 35 coupled to an adjust screw 37 through a bearing 36 is reciprocated. A link 39 coupled through a pin 38 is pulled and closed and a propeller 40 is rotated around a rotary shaft 41 through an eccentric pin 43 coupled to the link 39. This constitution changes the pitch angle of the propeller 40.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the driving system by locating a sphere on the nose of the rocking shaft and composing the driving system, to rock the rocking shaft, of a parallel link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In the rocking die forging machine guided with the backside and spherical sheet 5 of an upper die 1 and projected the rocking shaft 6 on the back, two eccentric shafts 42, 43 which are rotated respectively by controlling the normal or reverse rotation and speed regulation are located so as to position the rocking shaft 6 at the midpoint on the fixed platen 3 which enclose the rocking shaft. Large links 42, 43 of the equal length are supported with the sphere at the nose of the rocking shaft in overlapping and crossing each other at the same arm length and each idle end of these large links is pin jointed to each idle end of small links of the equal length of which one end is supported in overlapping with the eccentric shafts. Four types of rocking motions; circular motion, rectilinear motion, epicycloid motion and spiral motion are gained when the rotatory shaft 30, 31 are rotated by changing the number of revolution and rotation direction. Thus the driving system is simplified considerably.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the high-performance forging machine by guiding the rear surface side of an upper die by spherical seats, projecting oscillation shafts which can be oscillated to the rear surface side thereof, and oscillating the oscillation shafts by means of hydraulic cylinders which are controlled by servo valves communicated with a hydraulic source. CONSTITUTION:The oil pressure of a hydraulic pump unit 30 of the hydraulic source is supplied via the servo valve XS to the cylinders 16, 14 facing each other and is supplied via the servo valve YS to the cylinders 13, 15. The oil pressure is supplied to and discharged from the respective cylinders 13 - 16 by the directions and flow rates of the electric signals (i) from the servo amplifiers XA, YA. The command signals (j) from a waveform generator 31 are applied to the servo amplifiers XA, YA. The upper die is moved circularly, linearly, epicyclidally, spirally and sinusoidally by the signals from the generator 31. These motions are adequate for forging the products of respective shapes. Since the oscillating bodies of the upper die are hydraulically oscillated in this way, the diversified motions are obtd. and the adaptation even to the large forging load is possible.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce both size and weight of the captioned generator by dividing an eccentric crank part on the crank shaft into two parts on the crank shaft together with incorporating the intermediate parts of both eccentric crank parts into the cylinder chamber. CONSTITUTION:A crank shaft 42 is driven by an electric motor 1 for speed reduction via an epicyclic gear system 57. This crank shaft 42 is provided with eccentric crank parts 58 and 59, which are divided into two parts with the axial direction. In addition, this crank shaft 42 is inserted into a lateral hole of a working cylinder 45, while the intermediate parts of both eccentric crank parts 58 and 59 are incorporated into a cylinder chamber 52 in such a manner that the side faces of the eccentric crank parts 58 and 59, which face to each other, become a part of the inner cylinder wall of the working cylinder 45 individually. On the other hand, this working cylinder 45 accommodates a plunger 44, which is pivotally supported by a gudgeon pin 46, in such a manner that the plunger 44 can goes into or out of the cylinder 45.
