Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical device box from which an electrical device cable can be pulled out in its any direction and thus which can increase its mounting flexibility and can allow user's easy and quick wiring works. SOLUTION: The electrical device box comprises an electrical device box body 30 having a cable terminal 34 provided at its rear face and a cover 36 fitted onto the rear side of the electrical device box body 30 to cover the cable terminal 34. The cover 36 can be fitted onto the rear face of the electrical device box body 30 at least from two directions. Even when the cover 36 is fitted onto the rear face of the box body 30 in any one of the two directions, an outer face of the cover 36 can be continuously connected to an outer surface of the box body 30.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately extract a displacement of a vibration part of a speaker with simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:A conductive bobbin 46 and a cone 62 are vibrated in the direction of the arrow mark A in response to an electric signal inputted to a voice coil 48 wound on the bobbin 46 of a cone speaker unit 20. A fixed electrode 66 is fixed in the bobbin 46 along the lengthwise direction confronting with the bobbin 46 with an interval. The opposite area between the bobbin 46 and the fixed electrode 66 is fluctuated by the vibration of the bobbin 46, and a capacitance of a capacitor comprising the fixed electrode 66 and the bobbin 46 is changed proportional to a displacement of the bobbin 46. The change is extracted through a lead wire 70 and a lead wire connecting to the bobbin 46.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check the polarity of a speaker line without being affected by a device in use and an operating environment. SOLUTION: First and second module terminals 38, 40 of a check device 36 are connected between lines 26, 28 of a speaker 20. Darlington connection transistors(TRs) 42, 44 are connected between the module terminals 38, 40 via a resistor 46 in the check device 36. Resistors 52, 54 are connected in series between the module terminals 38, 40 and a parallel circuit consisting of a resistor 56 and a diode 58 is connected between an interconnecting point A and a base of the TR 42. A capacitor 50 is connected between the base of the TR 42 and the 2nd module terminal 40. A charging time constant of the capacitor 50 is longer the longest period of an audible frequency signal fed from an amplifier 30 to the speaker lines 26, 28 and a discharge time constant is smaller than the charging time constant.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform directivity angle characteristic over a broad band and higher sound pressure characteristic by constituting the speaker to be a 1st section of the throat side and a 2nd section at the opening side and forming opposite side walls to be a specific shape. CONSTITUTION:A couple of opposite side walls 1, 2 consist of two sections being the 1st section at the throat side 3 and the 2nd section at the opening side 4 and each side wall curve depends on equation y=a+becx (where a, b, c are constants different from the 1st and 2nd sections). Through the constitution above, a higher sound pressure is obtained from the low frequency to the intermediate frequency in the frequency characteristic while keeping a uniform directive angle characteristic in the horizontal direction and the part of the side walls 1, 2 close to the opening is formed by a circular-arc so that a sound wave is more smoothly parted in the vicinity of the opening, the directivity angle is in general narrow and even when more accurate control is requested, the narrowing phenomenon is avoided. Thus, uniform directive angle characteristic over a broad band is obtained.
