Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the control method of an artificial dialysis treatment eliminating the manual input of dialysis treatment conditions to a patient monitoring device, capable of setting the dialysis treatment conditions to the patient monitoring device quickly and surely, and simply processing the dialysis treatment conditions after a treatment. CONSTITUTION:An IC card 1 written with the patient name and dialysis treatment conditions for each patient in advance is inserted into a patient monitoring device 3 provided with the reading function of the IC card 1, the display function of its content, and the auxiliary writing function to the IC card 1, the patient name and the dialysis treatment conditions are displayed, the patient monitoring device 3 is operated according to the dialysis treatment conditions for a dialysis treatment, and data processing is performed by an IC card storage device 6 provided with the reading function of the IC card 1 as required in this control method of an artificial dialysis treatment.
