PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photosensitive colored compsn. excellent in shelf stability, suitability to coating and spectral characteristics and to make a color filter smooth without deteriorating its color separation effect, antireflection effect and display contrast by incorporating a transparent resin, a multifunctional acrylic monomer or oligomer, a photopolymn. initiator, a colorant and barium sulfate. SOLUTION: Barium sulfate is added to a compsn. contg. a transparent resin, a multifunctional acrylic monomer or oligomer, a photopolymn. initiator and a colorant. The barium sulfate is particles of =80% in the wavelength range of 400-700 nm in the visible light region. Since the photosensitive colored compsn. is used in combination with the barium sulfate, the coloring material layer of a color filter can be made smooth without deteriorating the spectral characteristics of the color filter.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type display panel with good visibility that provides brighter and sharper color display, and a manufacturing method of the reflection type display panel.SOLUTION: A reflection type display panel has at least a substrate, a first electrode layer, a display layer, a second electrode layer, and an ink fixing layer in this order. The ink fixing layer has a plurality of coloring parts, which are arranged corresponding to drive units of the first electrode layer, and all or part of the plurality of coloring parts contain xanthene dye.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color filter, which has the flatness of a pixel shape and a color filter surface in manufacturing the color filter using an inkjet system and to provide a color filter. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the color filter includes at least: a step of forming a light-shielding layer made of a prescribed pattern on a transparent substrate; a drying step of vaporizing a solvent to form a colored layer in the opening of the light-shielding layer after a colored ink is discharged by the inkjet method to form a prescribed arrangement; and a heating step of thermally curing to form the colored layer, wherein the film thickness distribution of the colored layer obtained in the drying step is in the range of 80-110% of the film thickness of the light-shielding layer and the oxygen concentration of an atmosphere in a heating furnace in the heating step is ≤1.0%. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter which improves flatness in pixels of a pixel part comprising a colored ink coating obtained when a black matrix is formed on a light transmissive substrate and coloring ink is dropped onto an aperture of the black matrix by a ink jet system. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a color filter includes the steps of: (a) dropping a first colored ink onto the aperture of the black matrix and then curing it; and (b) dropping a second colored ink onto the aperture of the black matrix and then curing it; wherein a film thickness (T1) of the colored ink coating at the center of the aperture after (a) the first colored ink is dropped and cured, and a film thickness (T2) of the colored ink coating at the peripheral part of the aperture in contact with the black matrix satisfy the following relation: T1≤T2. SOLUTION: The photosetting resin composition for a photo-spacer comprises a hydrophilic polymer (A), an ethylenically unsaturated compound (B), a polymerization initiator (C) and an additive (D), wherein the additive (D) comprises a compound (D1) having -3 to -1 (eV) LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) value calculated by the molecular orbital method, 3 to 8 conjugate double bonds, and 2 to 8 oxygen atoms or nitrogen atoms in the molecule, or a compound (D2) which produces the compound (D1) by exposure. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing color filter capable of inexpensively forming a black matrix and a colored pattern in such a satisfactory dimensional precision as to accommodate to a large screen and obtaining a high-definition color filter having no color irregularity without using a photolithography method with a mask. SOLUTION: The color filter is manufactured as follow; a light shielding layer is formed on a transparent substrate by using a printing method, a positive resist layer including an ink repellent agent is formed, thereafter, development is performed by exposing the positive resist layer from the rear side of the transparent substrate, whereby, a barrier wall formed by laminating the light shielding layer and the ink repellent positive resist layer is provided and inkjet ink is delivered into the barrier wall.
