Abstract: Procedimiento de producción de un compuesto procedente de una biomasa a base de polisacárido, incluyendo el procedimiento, como mínimo, una de una etapa de sacarificación para producir una solución que contiene azúcar que contiene un monosacárido y/o un oligosacárido a partir de un producto obtenible mediante la hidrólisis de biomasa a base de polisacárido y una etapa de fermentación para fermentar la solución que contiene azúcar que contiene el monosacárido y/u oligosacárido procedente de biomasa a base de polisacárido, en el que se lleva a cabo un tratamiento para la eliminación de un inhibidor de la fermentación mediante la utilización de una membrana de separación, que tiene una tasa de eliminación de glucosa y una tasa de eliminación de alcohol isopropílico que satisfacen simultáneamente las siguientes relaciones (I) y (II) cuando una solución acuosa de glucosa de 500 ppm a pH 6,5 a 25°C y una solución acuosa de alcohol isopropílico de 500 ppm a pH 6,5 a 25°C se permean respectivamente a través de la membrana a una presión de funcionamiento de 0,5 MPa, en la etapa anterior a la etapa de sacarificación y/o en la etapa anterior a la etapa de fermentación: Tasa de eliminación de glucosa >= 80% Tasa de eliminación de glucosa - tasa de eliminación de alcohol isopropílico >= 20%

Abstract: A fluorine resin polymer separation membrane and a manufacturing method of the same, which are excellent in a virus-eliminating property, further excellent in water permeability, chemical strength (chemical resistance), physical strength, and an antifouling property, and particularly suitable for practicable use as a filtration membrane for the elimination of viruses, are provided. A fluorine resin polymer separation membrane includes a layer having a three-dimensional network structure and a layer having a spherical structure, in which the layer having a three-dimensional network structure does not substantially contain micro-voids having a void diameter of 5 µm or more, and the fluorine resin polymer separation membrane has filtration performance represented by the elimination rate of 80% or more of dextran having molecular weight of 75,000. The layer having a three-dimensional network structure is formed by the solidification with a polymer solution containing a fluorine resin polymer and cellulose ester.

Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a sugar liquid using a cellulose-containing biomass as the starting material. Sugar liquid having a very low fermentation-inhibiting substance content is produced by a method comprising (1) a step in which a cellulose-containing biomass is hydrolyzed to produce an aqueous sugar solution and (2) a step in which the resulting aqueous sugar solution is filtered through a nanofiltration membrane and/or reverse osmosis membrane, the pure sugar liquid is recovered from the unpermeated side, and the fermentation-inhibiting matter is removed from the permeated side.
