    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title film having a porosity, a degree of orientation, an elongation at break, etc. each in a specified range and suited as, e.g., a separative membrane, by adding an organic solid to a polypropylene resin, forming the mixture into a film, extracting the organic solid from this film and subjecting it to heat treatment and orientation. CONSTITUTION:This microporous polypropylene film is a film which has many pores of a mean pore radius of 0.06-3mum and in which the pores form throughholes in the direction of the thickness of film and provide a porosity of 50-85%, the degree of orientation of film, represented by the formula, is 5-0.3 and the elongation at break in the machine direction is 70-200%. The production of this microporous polyolefin film is performed by adding a specified amount of an extractable organic solid (e.g., triphenyl phosphite) to a polypropylene resin, forming the mixture into film, extracting the organic solid therefrom with a solvent (e.g., toluene), heat-treating it and orienting it.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a film endure collapse even when an anode with a roughened surface is pushed against it when it is used as an electrolyte separator of, e.g., an electrolytic capacitor and to prevent an increase in a short circuit ratio or in an equivalent series resistance, by optimizing the mean pore diameter, porosity and Young's modulus of compression of a polyolefin film. CONSTITUTION:This microporous polyolefin film has a mean pore diameter of 0.05-5mum, a porosity of 50-85% and a Young's modulus of compression of 0.2kg/mm or above. As said polyolefin, polypropylene of an isotactic index of 93% or above and an intrinsic viscosity of 1.2-3.3dl/g is desirable. A polypropylene having a melt crystallization temperature of 106 deg.C or above is particularly desirable among such polypropylenes.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain highly transparent film, which is highly effected by cooling, by a method wherein flexible film, which is made of thermoplastic resin, is melt-extruded and coolingly cast through water film on a casting drum. CONSTITUTION:In the extrusion casting of flexible film, which is made of thermoplastic resin and has Young's modulus in tension of 0.1-50kg/mm , the thermoplastic resin is melt-extruded in the form of sheet and coolingly cast through water film on a casting drum. Copolymer polyester where the temperature difference ( Tcg) between the cold crystallization temperature (Tcc) and the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the thermoplastic resin is 60 deg.C or less is preferable for the flexible film concerned. The preferable thickness of the water film is 0.05-20g/m . Probably due to minute particles of water adhered to the film, which is cast through the water film, the degree of crystallization of the film tends to easily, increase by heat treatment, resulting in obtaining the film having high degree of transparency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the density of protrusions on the surface of a base film and to make the heights of the protrusions uniform by specifying the average particle size of inactive particles and the content of the particles in the laminated film of polyester. CONSTITUTION:The average particle size of inactive particles and the thickness of a laminated film of polyester A containing the particles are 0.1-100 times, and the content of the particles in the laminated film of the polyester A is 0.01-10wt.%. If the average particle size/film thickness ratio is smaller than this range, the heights of the protrusions formed on the surface becomes irregular, and the strength of the surface becomes improper. On the contrary, if they are larger, the surface strength becomes improper not to be desirable. Thus, the density of the protrusions on the surface of the film can be enhanced, and the heights of the protrusions can be made uniform.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve soldering resistance in intensifying the stretching during winding element by providing a coating layer consisting mainly of specific quantity polysiloxane polymer on a polyolefin porous film having a surface porosity diameter of 0.05-3mu and porosity ratio of 30-90%. CONSTITUTION:Polyolefin and a polar cold organic solid having compatibility during melting and capable of being separated each other during cooling are melted and extruded, after that, a film having a surface porosity diameter of 0.05-3mu and porosity ratio of 30-90% is formed through stretching. Next, a coating agent capable of forming a silane film such as partial hydrolysis substance or the like of aminosilane + epoxysilane is impregnated on the polyolefin porous film, and then it is cured at 60-130 deg.C so as to form a coating layer containing a polysiloxane polymer, which constitutes a film, or 0.1-6g per polyolefin 10g.
