    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance excellent hot stick resistance even in a high printing energy area by laminating a layer containing a heat resistant resin as a main component on at least one side surface of a biaxially oriented polyester film substantially without intermediary of an adhesive layer, and forming a ribbed protrusion on its surface layer. SOLUTION: A ribbed protrusion means that a ratio of a lengthwise direction is 2/1 or above. The protrusion of a heat resistant resin is formed. Thus, when it is used as the heat-sensitive transfer material, extremely excellent hot stick resistance can be incorporated. The thus obtained laminated film has excellent interface adhesive properties. Since an adhesive layer is not interposed at an interface, no releasing of the laminated film occurs. Further, since the protrusion made of the resin is formed on a surface layer of the laminated film, when it is used as the heat-sensitive transfer material, extremely excellent hot stick resistance is provided, and no wear and stain of a thermal head can be obtained.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminated film having excellent adhesive properties uniformly on a thermoplastic film using a heat resistant resin without substantially using an adhesive. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a heat resistant resin laminated film comprises the steps of coating at least one surface of a thermoplastic film of a polyester or the like with a layer containing a heat resistant resin such as an aromatic polyamide, aromatic polyimide or the like dissolved in a bipolar aprotic solvent as a main component before completing a crystal orientation by uniaxially orienting, orienting the layer in a direction perpendicular to the orienting direction through a preheating step, and heat setting it; wherein the layer is oriented under the condition that a heat resistant resin concentration is 50 wt.% or less.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gas barrier properties and durability by constituting an easy adhesion layer mainly out of polyester resin and by making a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer contain an amino group-containing silane coupling agent. SOLUTION: An easy adhesion layer and a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer are laminated sequentially on one surface of a thermoplastic resin film at least. The easy adhesion layer of this gas barrier film is constituted mainly of polyester resin and the polyvinyl alcohol resin layer contains an amino group- containing silane coupling agent. The amino group-containing silane coupling agent used herein has an amino group and an easily hydrolyzable alkoxysilane group in a molecule. According to this constitution, the adhesion between the polyvinyl alcohol resin layer and the easy adhesion layer constituted mainly of the polyester resin, i.e., the durability of the gas barrier film, can be greatly improved.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To laminate uniformly at a high speed by a method in which a layer mainly containing a heat resistant resin soluble in a dipolar non-protonic solvent is applied on at least one side of a thermoplastic film before the completion of crystal orientation, preliminary stretching is done at the boiling point of the solvent or below, and heat treatment is done at the boiling point of the solvent or above. SOLUTION: A layer mainly containing a heat resistant resin soluble in a dipolar non-protonic solvent is applied on at least one side of a thermoplastic film before the completion of crystal orientation, and the film is stretched at a temperature below the boiling point of the solvent by a preliminary and simultaneous biaxial orientation method and heat-treated at a temperature above the boiling point of the solvent. A polyester film is preferable as the thermoplastic film in terms of transparency, dimensional stability, mechanical properties, adhesion to a heat resistant resin layer to be laminated, and others. As the solvent, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, dimethylformamide, dimethylsulfoxide, and others are used. An aromatic polyamide is preferable is a heat resistant resin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminate in which the adhesion between a thermoplastic film and a heat resistant resin layer is good by a method in which a biaxially oriented polyester film and a layer having lower crystallinity than that of the polyester film are laminated, and a layer containing a heat resistant resin soluble in a dipolar aprotic solvent as a main component is laminated on the lower crystallinity layer. SOLUTION: At least on one side of a biaxially oriented polyester film A, a layer B having lower crystallinity than that of the film A is formed. By forming the layer B, the adhesion between it and a heat resistant resin layer formed on the layer B is improved. The crystallinity of the layer B is lower than that the film A of a base material and is desirably about 15% or below. A layer containing a heat resistant resin soluble in a dipolar aprotic solvent as a main component is laminated on the layer B. Dimethyl sulfoxide is an example of the solvent. The film A is made of polyethylene terephthalate and others, including a mixture of them.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of blocking at front and rear surfaces, and the indistinctness of dots at overprinting, and also restrain the occurrence of beading by containing a glycerine component in an ink receiving layer. SOLUTION: The carrier of an image receiving body is preferably a whitened plastic film, and a transparent plastic film for use in OHP or the like. Such a plastic film is preferable to be a polyester from the point of view of rigidity, dimensional stability, transparency, and economic efficiency. For a resin forming the ink receiving layer, there is used various kinds of water absorptive resins. A glycerine component is contained in the ink receiving layer. The content of a glycerine component is preferable to be 3-50 wt.%. Thus, hit ink drops are absorbed in the receiving layer extremely promptly, so that the occurrence of graze or beading by overprinting can be restrained.
