Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain fabric large in its mechanical strength holding ability by enhancing the mechanical strength of fabric with inherent low mechanical strength without impairing the touch feel, etc., inherent in this fabric. CONSTITUTION:The high-strength fabric is such that silicone rubber has been put to contact bonding in a finely lumpy manner among the fibers in the surface layer and its amount being 0.01-3.0wt.% based on the fabric. This high-strength fabric can be produced by pressure contact between fabric and a silicone rubber followed by relatively moving the fabric and the rubber so as to rub the rubber into the surface layer of the fabric.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric having transverse firmness and good form retainability and laundering resistance. SOLUTION: This woven fabric comprises polyester multifilament yarns ≤120 dtex in fineness as warps and polyester multifilament yarns ≥10 dtex in single filament fineness as wefts; wherein the numerical value obtained by dividing the transverse B-number by longitudinal B-number in the KES (Kawabata Evaluation System) flexural property of this fabric is ≥15, and the warps and/or wefts used consist of at least spun-dyed yarn. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber structure having highly durable moisture- absorbing and electrostatic performances, soft in a feeling, excellent in color development and further having biodegradability. SOLUTION: The fiber structure is produced by using a polyester fiber mainly composed of an aliphatic polyester having a melting point of >=130 deg.C. The fiber structure has a copolymer of vinylcarboxylic acid and/or vinylsulfonic acid, and a vinyl monomer expressed by general formula [I] and/or general formula [II] on the surface of the fiber material.
