Abstract: A molded antimicrobial article comprises an infiltrated antimicrobial agent which forms independent phases of 0.01 mu m or more in shorter diameter in the molded article. It is preferable that the antimicrobial agent is a pyridine based antimicrobial agent with a molecular weight of 200 to 700 and an inorganic property/organic property value of 0.3 to 1, and that 50% or more of the antimicrobial agent is infiltrated in a depth range of 0.5, preferably, 1 mu m or more from the surface of the molded article, or that 30% or more of the antimicrobial agent is infiltrated in a depth range of 2 mu m or more from the surface of the molded article. It is also preferable that the molded article is fibers, that the surface area used per 1 g of fibers is 0.1 m or more, and that the synthetic fibers are a colored antimicrobial fibrous product. The molded antimicrobial article of the present invention can be obtained, for example, by immersing a fibrous product in a dyeing liquid containing a pyridine based antimicrobial agent with a molecular weight of 200 to 700, an inorganic property/organic property value of 0.3 to 1.4 and an average particle size of 2 mu m or less, and treating simultaneously with dyeing under pressurization, or by applying a liquid containing a pyridine based antimicrobial agent with a molecular weight of 200 to 700, an inorganic property/organic property value of 0.3 to 1.4 and an average particle size of 2 mu m or less to a fibrous product by padding or spraying, and heat-treating it at 160 to 200 DEG C in dry or wet state.

Abstract: A fiber structure comprising cellulose fibers crosslinked by using a crosslinking agent and synthetic fibers, characterized in that the crosslinking index represented by the following formula of the cellulose fibers is in a range of 1 to 4, and that the synthetic fibers contain an antimicrobial agent having an inorganic value/organic value ratio of 0.3 to 1.4. This structure has antimicrobial property excellent in industrial washing durability and also has shape stability such as crease resistance and shrinkage resistance. Crosslinking index = A - B where A is the coefficient of moisture absorption of the fiber structure after crosslinking in an atmosphere of 30 DEG C and 90% RH (%), and B is the coefficient of moisture absorption of the fiber structure after crosslinking in an atmosphere of 20 DEG C and 65% RH (%).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat-retaining fiber structure comprising a cloth layer having a moisture/heat release control capability laminated with a cloth layer having water molecule adsorption/heat release capability, wherein said cloth layer having the moisture/heat release control capability has a moisture permeability of 3000-12000g/m .24hr and said cloth layer having water molecule adsorption/heat release capability has an exothermic energy index of 5 or larger and a contact thermal sensation factor (qmax) of 0.1W/cm or less. This constitution makes it possible to provide clothing having high heat-retaining performance achieved by water molecule adsorption capability.
