    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled foam free of blending out and excellent in heat resistance, flexibility and high-frequency sealability, consisting essentially of a vinyl chloride resin and a PE copolymer at a specified blending ratio. CONSTITUTION:A blend polymer consisting essentially of 0.25-2.40pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin (A) having a vinyl chloride component content of 65-100wt% and an average degree of polymerization of 300-3,000 and 1pt.wt. PE copolymer (B) comprising at lest one mono- or di-basic aliphatic unsaturated carboxylic acids (derivatives) as the comonomer, such as an ethylene/alkyl acrylate, m.p. (Tm) of 86-102 deg.C, comprising ethylene and 10-25wt% comonomer such as an alkyl acrylate, is mixed with, optionally, a low-density PE (C) of a m.p. . To this mixture a heat stabilizer, a heat- decomposable blowing agent (e.g., azodi-carbonamide), etc., are added and the resulting mixture is molded and crosslinked to a gel rate of 15-60%. The obtained crosslinked molding is heated to decompose the blowing agent violently, to obtain the titled foam whose physical properties do no change with the lapse of time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a crosslinked foam containing a specific polyethylene copolymer, a low-density polyethylene and a straight-chain polyethylene, having excellent vacuum-formability and formable by vacuum-forming without causing the surface-roughening. CONSTITUTION:The objective foamed material is composed of a blended polymer containing (A) a polyethylene copolymer containing one or more compounds selected from monobasic or dibasic aliphatic unsaturated carboxylic acid and its derivative as a copolymerized component, (B) a low-density polyethylene and (C) a straight-chain polyethylene as essential components. The blending ratio of (B+C)/A is 12-19 (by weight), the gel fraction is 15-45% and the draw ratio (K) satisfies the formula K>=2d+0.40 (d is apparent density g/cm ).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled foam excellent in flexibility and heat resistance, comprising a specified random ethylene/propylene copolymer, a specified low-density PE and a linear PE.     Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled foam excellent in vacuum formability and low in uneven crosslinking and cell collapse, comprising a polymer blend comprising a specified random ethylene/propylene copolymer and a specified low-density PE. CONSTITUTION:A heat-decomposable blowing agent is added to a polymer blend comprising a random ethylene/propylene copolymer (A) of a propylene content of 15-30wt%, a m.p. of 100-118 deg.C and a crystallization temperature of 85-100 deg.C, a low-density PE (B) of a m.p. and, optionally, a linear PE (C) of a m.. of 115-135 deg.C, MI of 1-50g/10min and a density of 0.915-0.945g/cm , and the obtained mixture is formed into a sheet. This sheet is expanded by heating to obtain a high-performance crosslinked PE resin foam having an area intensity ratio (R) determined from a C-NMR spectrum and represented by the equation of 20-300, a gel fraction of 15-45%, a draw ratio (K) in the range of K>=2d+0.40 (wherein d is an apparent density, g/cm ).
