Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve operability and to execute a half cutter operation by means of a natural operation by providing a tape discharge part at the right side of a base part viewing from a unit operation direction. CONSTITUTION:At the time of an automatic dialing, a user takes a handset 31 by a left hand, reads an optical identification mark by a scanner 9 and depresses a calling key 11. At the time of printing the optical identification mark, the user takes the set 31 and executes the calling operation by a telephone set 30. When a printing key 12 is depressed, telephone number data which is call-operated is converted into the optical identification mark and it is printed on a tape. The printed tape is discharged from a discharge part 3, and the user operates a cutter lever 8 so as to cut it. The tape which is cut is inserted into a slit 5 and a half cutter part 4 cuts the tape into halves.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a concrete form improved in strength, bending strength and heat insulating properties and excellent in the adhesiveness to concrete and a concrete casting method. CONSTITUTION:At least one surface of a foamed object composed of a synthetic resin is reinforced by cloth composed of a composite fiber and/or composite yarn constituted of an adhesive component and a reinforcing component holding high strength. The cloth and at least one surface of the foamed object are integrally bonded through the adhesive component of the composite fiber and/or composite yarn and a resin having properties bonded to concrete is held to the interior and surface of the cloth to constitute a concrete form. Concrete is cast using this form.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a read rate of a bar-code having such defects as deficiency, dirt, etc. CONSTITUTION:In the bar-code reading method for reading two-dimensionally a bar-code, and binarizing two-dimensional data which is read, segmentation of a bar-code area and angle correction 6 are executed from binarized 3 two-dimensional data, the two-dimensional data subjected to segmentation and angle correction is scanned in the height direction of the bar-code, and when a ratio of the number of data scanned in the height direction and the number of data of a value of one of the binarized data exceeds a threshold, a correcting operation for setting a value of that which exceeds the threshold as read data of the bar-code is executed in the lengthwise direction of the bar-code, and the corrected data is decoded 7.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure a satisfactory reading property in a bar code in a limited area by recording the bar code and a character, picture, identification mark or the like by overlapping them. CONSTITUTION:A character, picture, identification mark or the like is recorded in a part where the main bar code is recorded in a color which doesn't substantially affect the reading property of an optical reader which reads the bar code. At this time, the character, picture, or identification mark are recorded by overlapping them. Moreover, the main bar code is recorded in black or blue, and the character, picture, or identification mark or the like is recorded in red or yellow. Paper, dishcloth polymer film or the like is used for the recording carrier. The dishcloth is textiles, knitting, non-woven cloth constituted of a natural fiber such as silk or cotton, synthetic fiber of a polyester system, polyamide system, or polyacrylonitrile system, regenerative fiber of a cellulose type or protein system, and semi-synthetic fiber or the like.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a bar coding method and a bar code printer that can simply change the telephone numbers into the bar codes by reading optically and recognizing the characters including the telephone numbers, extracting the telephone numbers from among the recognized character strings, and printing these telephone numbers after changing them into the bar codes. CONSTITUTION:An optical reading part 2 of a printer 1 is scanned with push of a read button 10, and the characters printed on a visiting card 11 are read and recognized. Then a telephone number is extracted from among the recognized character strings. That is, a format pattern of the telephone number is previously stored and a part coincident with the format is extracted. Then the unnecessary marks like (,), ',', '-', etc., are deleted from among the extracted character string. Thus only the digit part of the telephone number is extracted. Then the extracted telephone number is changed into a bar code by a converter part. A label 12 containing a bar-coded telephone number is outputted from a printer part 7 with push of a printer button 9. It is desirable to add a check digit to the obtained bar code.
