    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the joining structure and method of dissimilar metal materials small in electric resistance and excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: A first metal material 1 is made into a sintered alloy by infiltrating a cupper in the clearance between tungsten particles, after mold-pressing and false burning the tungsten particles while adding a very small quantity of additive. The diameter of the tungsten particle in the first metal material 1 is taken as 2 μm-15 μm. The rate of the tungsten in the first metal material 1 is taken as 55 wt.% or more. The cupper which is a jointing material 2 is joined to the cupper tungsten alloy which is the first metal material by a friction press-contact. Thereafter, the carbon steel which is a second metal material 3 is joined to the cupper which is the jointing material 2 by the friction press- contact.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puffer gas blast circuit breaker which improves reliability by improving cut-off performance of a hybrid puffer arc extinguishing chamber, and by preventing foreign substances from coming up as well. SOLUTION: In a puffer gas blast circuit breaker which extinguishes an arc generating between a fixed contact and a moving contact by blasting gas, an operation rod 1 has a communicating hole to communicate with a puffer chamber in its first period of compression and communicate with gas space outside of the puffer chamber in its last period of compression. A resin ring without a cut and a slot with one open end to mount this ring are placed on a flange of a puffer piston 3 penetrated by the communicating hole of the operation rod 1. Since the open end is sealed by a metal guide, there is no directional dependency on setting of the operation rod and the ring, and the air tightness of the gas sealing part of the sliding part between the puffer piston 3 and the operation rod 1 is improved wherever the communication hole may be in the ring. Thereby, the pressure in the puffer chamber is increased, and cut-off performance can be improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable small gas-blast circuit breaker having a closing resistance by which electrical insulation between an arc extinguishing chamber and an closing resistance contact point part can be secured and in which displacement or stress caused in an closing contact point fixing part due to impact force received in the case of closing the closing resistance contact point part can be restrained to the possible minimum level. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an arc extinguishing chamber 4 housed in an insulating gas sealed container 2, a closing resistance 27 connected electrically in parallel to this arc extinguishing chamber to restrain over-voltage while being closed and an closing resistance contact point part 5 connected electrically in series to this closing resistance. A fixing part 32 of the closing resistance contact point part is supported with a metallic support member 35 having large longitudinal elastic modulus to a fixing part 6 of the arc extinguishing chamber, and is also insulated electrically by means of an insulating member 34. The insulating member is arranged so as to coincide with the axial direction of the fixing part of the closing resistance contact point part. A spring 33 of the fixing part of the closing resistance contact point part is formed of ceramic.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prolong an electrical and mechanical lifetime and improve a breaking characteristic by connecting one end of each of connecting rods to an operating rod on a movable side and the rear end of an operating rod on an opposite side by means of a pair of insulative rods. CONSTITUTION:In a buffer type gas circuit breaker where an operating rod 13 on a movable side and an operating rod 19 on an opposite side are simultaneously driven by a single driver 1, the driver 1 is disposed outside of the side surface of a gas container 2. The driver 1 is connected to the rear end of the operating rod 13 on the movable side and the rear end of the operating rod 19 on the opposite side by a pair of connecting rods 9, 23 which are connected on each one end thereof to the driver 1 and arranged along the side wall of the gas container 2 in the axial direction, and a pair of insulative rods 11, 21 interposed between the other end of each of the connecting rods 9, 23, and each rear end of the operating rods 13, 19 on the movable and opposite sides, respectively. Therefore, it is possible to prevent any damage of the insulative rods 11, 21 and the connecting rods 9, 23 due to an arc generated at the time of breaking so as to improve a breaking characteristic and prolong an electrical and mechanical lifetime.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas circuit breaker which is small and has improved reliability. SOLUTION: This gas circuit breaker has a circuit breaker, comprising a movable part and a fixed part and enclosed in a gas container having an insulating gas sealed therein, to open and close a current path, the movable part having an insulating nozzle 5 for shutting off currents, a movable arc contact 7, a puffer cylinder 1, and a movable current-conducting contact 6 for passing currents at any time. In this case, since the nozzle 5 is screwed into the movable current-conducting contact 7, the puffer cylinder 1 and the movable current- conducting contact 7 are integrally formed with each other, and the need for a flange part for rivetedly and threadably fastening the movable current- conducting contact 7 and the puffer cylinder 1 together is eliminated, whereby the gas circuit breaker is miniaturized and reliability is also improved.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-blast circuit breaker which is reduced in weight, allowed to increase its breaking speed with the same driving force, and is enhanced in breaking performance by specifying the shape of an insulating operating rod. SOLUTION: In a gas-blast circuit breaker 1, an insulating operating rod 11 has holes 13 bored near each end for insertion of pins, and is pinned to a connecting rod 9 and an operating rod 4. The insulating operating rod 11 is smaller in width (b) near its center than in width W at each end, with the width (b) being greater than a length W-D obtained by subtracting the diameter D of the pin hole from the width W. From a position a predetermined distance away from one of the pin holes in the operating rod, the width is smoothly varied from W to (b). Therefore, movable part weight is reduced to enable an increase in the breaking speed with the same driving force, resulting in enhanced breaking performance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a circuit breaker smaller and lighter by arranging an elastic member to restrict displacement taking place when the contact of a lever to which the moving portions of a main contact and a making resistance are connected is open. CONSTITUTION:The moving portions of a main contact 14 and a making resistance 16 are joined together via a connecting lever 11 in such a manner that they are associated with each other. The connecting lever 11 is rigidly attached to the moving portion of the main contact 14 at the 14a part by screwing or likewise and pin-connected to the moving portion of a making resistance 16 at the 11a. Also, the connecting lever 11 is pin-connected to an insulated rod 12, which coveys the making and breaking operation of a circuit breaker, at the 11b. Although the 11b is displaced to the upper part in Fig. from the stroke direction of the insulated rod 12 by the operation of the insulated rod 12 because of its mechanism, the displacement is restricted by an elastic element 19 which is installed via a fixed plate 18. As a result, bending moment is reduced at the 14a, thus to prevent the breakage of the moving portion of the main contact without additional constructive members.

CONSTITUTION:A spring constant of a spring 36 is determined to satisfy k>(pi .M)/(4g.T ), wherein T (sec.) represents a time from the start to the stop of a main contact movable pole 10 at the time of closing; Mkg, a mass of a spring system consisting of a closing resistant contact movable pole 32 and the spring 36; k (kgf/m), a spring constant; and g, acceleration of gravity. Consequently, the spring system consisting of the pole 32 and the spring 36 follows the motion of the pole 10 with a little delay, and a closing resistant contact is certainly turned on prior to a main contact of an arc-extinguishing chamber.
