Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver for an insulator-type switch, which is small-sized and simplified, ensures superior operability for assembling, realizes a stabilized operation mode and superior operability, enables speeding up of contact opening and closing, and displays high reliability of operation. SOLUTION: In an insulator-type switch 1, a support porcelain bushing 15 is fixed to a base 16, and a metal container 14 is arranged at the upper end part of the support bushing 15. To the metal container 14, three porcelain bushings 2, 2a, 2b are fitted, and inside the porcelain bushings 2a, 2b the contacts 12, 13 of disconnectors 1a, 1b are housed. A driver 3 for driving the opening and closing of the contacts 12, 13 of the two disconnectors 1a, 1b inside the insulator-type switch 1, is composed of an operating mechanism portion 32 arranged in an aerial part of the base 16, an insulated operation rod 31 put in the supporting bushing 15, and an opening and closing mechanism portion 30 arranged inside the metal container 14.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce bending stresses incurred in an operating rod and a lever by slidably guiding a pin connecting the lever which connects an arc suppressing chamber to a closing contact section by a support section provided for the stationary section of the arc suppressing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A lever 41 is connected to an insulation operating rod via a pin 42 and a snap ring 43 is fitted on the pin 42 so that the lever does not come off from the pin. This thereby causes both the lever 41 and the operating rod to be driven, and also causes the pin 42 to be moved in the axial direction while being brought into contact with each sliding member 45 whenever a gas breaker is opened/closed, the movable electrode and the like of the arc suppressing chamber are thereby prevented from being moved in the radial direction. In addition, force produced, by the inertia of the movable electrode of a contact section 5 of a closing resistance when cut-off motion is over, is restrained by the pin 42 and each member 45, the deformation of the lever 41 is thereby restrained, this thereby prevent excessive bending stresses from being incurred around the sliding member of the operating rod and around each section close to the operating rod and the lever 41.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the overall constitution by scaling down the space inside the device, and also to suppress use of global warming gas. SOLUTION: A metallic tank 9 being charged with insulating gas is provided with a divider which bifurcates in two directions, and conductors 10 and 5 are arranged within the bushings 11 and 4 connected to the ends of the leaders of this divider. A vacuum valve 1 is applied as a breaking part. This vacuum valve 1 is stored in one hand 11 of the bushings. The conductor 10 connects its one end side to the vacuum valve within the bushing 11, as a branching conductor having a fork branching off within the tank, and also connects its other end side to the conductor 5, within the bushing 4 on the side where the vacuum valve is not stored.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance breaking performance to large current by forming a through hole in the radial direction in a second nozzle or an arc contact support, and exhausting the stay heat between an arc contact and the second nozzle. SOLUTION: When arc contacts 6, 7 are connected with an arc 8, arc- extinguishing gas is supplied from a flow path 24 formed with insulating first and second nozzles 18, 19 to the arc 8. When a breaker is opened, hot gas is accumulated in a space 21. The pressure in the space 21 is raised by the accumulated hot gas. The hot gas is exhausted to the flow path 24 through plural through holes 22 formed in the nozzle 19. The stay of the hot gas in the space 21 is eliminated, breaking performance to large current is enhanced, and the reliability of an electric power facility is enhanced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a puffer gas-blast circuit breaker which has good breaking performance by reducing an electromagnetic force working on an arc, and improving the efficiency of exhausting hot gas. CONSTITUTION:A pair of a fixed electrode 2 and a movable electrode 3 which freely move into and out of contact with each other are arranged opposite to each other inside a closed container 1 filled with an arc-extinguishing gas. Conductors 5, 6 for taking currents in from the outside are connected respectively to the fixed electrode 2 and to the movable electrode 3. An arc between the opposite electrodes 2, 3 is extinguished by blowing the arc-extinguishing gas. The fixed electrode 2 comprises a cylindrical support member 19, a fixed arc contact 8 provided at the center of the support member 19, and a plurality of ribs 20 arranged radially so that the fixed arc contact 8 is supported to the support member. Of the plurality of ribs 20, those opposite to the conductor 5 for taking current into the gas-blast circuit breaker have electrical resistance the sum of which is smaller than the sum of the electrical resistance of the ribs located on the same side as the conductor 5.

CONSTITUTION:A main cutoff part 2 and a resistor cutoff part 3 are arranged in a container 1. Individually rotatable first and second levers 61, 71 are arranged at the lower part of the container 1 so that their rotary shafts 60, 70 are made coaxial. The main cutoff part 2 is connected to the first lever 61, a main operating mechanism 5 is connected, the resistor cutoff part 3 is connected to the second lever 71, and a resistor side operating mechanism 4 is connected. A delay mechanism 41 is connected to the main operating mechanism 5 and the resistor side operating mechanism 4. A plurality of the first and second couplings 81, 82 are provided on the first and second levers 61, 71 respectively, and they are pressed and coupled with each other. The main cutoff part 2 and the resistor cutoff part 3 can be individually driven correctly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a buffer gas circuit breaker with a double-motion system closing resistance contact which has high reliability, large capacity and one-point cutoff operation by securely preventing the deformation of a member in breaking while securely holding the function of the closing resistance contact in closing. CONSTITUTION:The second moving electrode 102 with a closing resistance contact is pushed into a cylindrical electrode 105 by the first moving electrode 101 with a closing resistance contact, so that a spring 106 is pushed and shrinked into an energy stored condition. In such a state, the spring 106 releases stored energy on the way of breaking and instantly thrusts the second moving electrode 102 with the closing resistance contact, so that the engagement portion 102a of the electrode 102 collides with the stopper 105a of the electrode 105 at a high speed. The collision energy is absorbed by an elastic sheet 107 on the inside face of the stopper 105. Bending moment momentarily applied to an insulation member 103 via which the second moving electrode 10 in a quenching chamber is connected to the electrode 105 is thus made extremely smaller.

SOLUTION: The coating layer 2 of a metal having the melting point higher than that of a metal base material 1 is formed on the metal base material. A6061 or C1020 is used for the base material 1. For the coating layer 2, 13Cr stainless steel is used. The coating layer 2 is formed by using the thermal spraying method. The angle formed by a free edge and the base material 1 at an end of the coating layer 2, i.e., the groove angle 3 of the coating layer 2 is formed to be 30 deg., and the wall thickness of the coating layer 2 is formed to be 3 mm.
