Abstract: An expander for forming a drawn metal product such as a casket and the like. The expander includes a bladder which surrounds a ring. Hydraulic fluid is pumped into the bladder to cause the bladder to expand and force the workpiece against a rigid outer die, the hydraulic fluid being conveyed by a conduit which extends through the bladder and ring and is fixed to the ring. The above mentioned caskets have a one-piece single-seam construction for their sidewalls.
