    Abstract: A vacuum insulated appliance includes a cabinet with an outer wrapper and an inner liner coupled to the outer wrapper to define an insulation cavity. The cabinet defines a passthrough opening through the outer wrapper and the inner liner. A passthrough cover is coupled to the cabinet over the passthrough opening. The passthrough cover has a bottom wall defining at least one service hole. A passthrough cavity is defined between the cabinet and the passthrough cover. At least one foam injection port is defined by the passthrough cover, and an expanding foam is disposed within the passthrough cavity. The expanding foam is configured to be inserted through the at least one foam injection port to at least partially fill the passthrough cavity.

    Abstract: A vacuum insulated appliance includes a cabinet with a wrapper and a liner encompassed by the wrapper. A wire on tube condenser is disposed at a rear portion of the cabinet. A plurality of engagement plates is coupled to the wire on tube condenser. Each engagement plate of the plurality of engagement plates includes a slotted feature defined on an end of the engagement plate. The end of each engagement plate extends beyond an outer edge of one of a first side section and a second side section, respectively, of the wire on tube condenser. A plurality of hangers protrudes outward from the rear portion of the cabinet. Each hanger of the plurality of hangers engages with the slotted feature to couple the wire on tube condenser to the cabinet.

    Abstract: A cooling appliance includes a body defining a vacuum-insulated chamber. A cooling device is configured to regulate a temperature in the vacuum-insulated chamber. A shroud bracket is located between the compressor and the condenser and defines at least one slot that retains the at least one coolant tube. A drainage routing tube extends from the cooling device to a drain tube mount and the drain tube mount includes a retention feature connected to a drainage receptacle.

    Abstract: An appliance includes a refrigeration compartment that is defined by a plurality of interior walls. A freezer compartment is positioned proximate to the refrigeration compartment. A compressor is positioned proximate to at least one of the refrigeration compartment and the freezer compartment. A first evaporator is operably coupled to the compressor. A suction line is operably coupled to the first evaporator and is configured to convey refrigerant from the first evaporator toward the compressor. The suction line includes a suction line looping portion that generally defines an inner suction line loop and an outer suction line loop. A capillary tube is operably coupled to the first evaporator and is configured to convey refrigerant to the first evaporator. The capillary tube is configured to contact the suction line looping portion, such that heat from the capillary tube is transferred to the suction line.
