Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove toner waste in clean earthly environment by connecting a vacuum source to the discharge port of a toner reservoir in a hermetically sealed state by a disposable adapter tool. SOLUTION: A xerographic module is detached from a machine main body, the sealed discharge port 88 of the toner reservoir 86 is unsealed, and the vacuum source 180 is connected to the discharge port 88 so that the toner waste is removed by the vacuum source 180. In such a case, the disposable adapter tool connects the vacuum source 180 to the discharge port 88 of the toner reservoir 86 in the hermetically sealed state. The disposable adapter tool is constituted of an L-shaped bracket 110 and a vacuum nozzle assembly 150. A hose nozzle is attached to the vacuum source 180 by a vacuum nozzle 182 and a vacuum hose 184. In such a case, toner is contained in a vacuum cleaner in order to contain the toner at a time. The waste toner gets in the vacuum source 180 from a vacuum port 188 and caught by a waste toner filter 190.
