Abstract:
Abstract:
The bottles are fed to a capsule dispenser (16) which is adapted to place a capsule (20) having a slot (22) on its lateral wall upon each of the bottle necks (N). The capsuled bottles are fed to a carousel (28) provided with a plurality of peripheral stations (30), each of which is adapted to receive a respective bottle (B) and to perform the following operations upon it: raising the capsule (20) from the neck (N) by a pick-up device (38); opening outwards the tab (L) of the cage (C), at least partially, by an opening device; aligning the tab (L) to the slot (22) by axially rotating at least one of the bottle (B) and the capsule (20); re-laying the capsule (20) on the bottle neck. The tab (L) will insert into the slot (22) and protrude outside the capsule.
Abstract:
A device configured to autonomously attach a cap to a bottle in a childproof manner. The device may comprise a cap feed line and a bottle feed line. The device may further comprise a moving arm assembly comprising a cam-chuck component having a plurality of jaws configured to grip, lift, and lower a cap onto the bottle. The device may further comprise a slide compensation assembly configured to prevent over-application of force of the cap to the bottle. The device may further comprise a screw drive assembly configured to screw the cap onto the bottle as downward force is applied. The device may further comprise an optical assembly for detecting errors in picking up the cap.
Abstract:
A transferring unit for transferring caps (82) comprising: a magazine (29); a housing device (7), (8) comprising a first supporting element (31), a first receiving element of a first typology (32) and one of a second typology (33); a movement device (30) comprising a second supporting element (36); a second receiving element of a first typology (37) and one of a second typology (39); a transferring device (10) comprising a movable arm (41). The transferring unit (2) is switchable between a working configuration, in which the transferring device (10) picks up the caps (82) from the first receiving element and positions them on the second receiving element, and a format change-over configuration, in which the movable arm (41) swaps over the first receiving elements, and swaps over the second receiving elements.
Abstract:
According to the present disclosure, an article feeding device that reliably and consistently outputs properly oriented articles includes an input configured to receive articles, an output configured to dispense properly oriented articles, an orientation alteration portion between the input and output, and an orientation control system. The orientation alteration portion includes a first track configured to allow properly oriented articles to pass therethrough without alteration and a second track configured to alter the orientation of improperly oriented articles. The orientation control system is configured to detect orientation of the articles at the input and to send the articles to either the first track or the second track depending upon the detected orientation.
Abstract:
An alignment apparatus for use in packaging. The device generally uses a guide plate, dome shaped member through which a stream of air flows, and guide bar to reject improperly packaging elements. This apparatus provides an easy way to ensure properly oriented and aligned packaging elements during the automated packaging processes, thereby reducing wasteful and costly errors due to incorrectly aligned packaging elements.
