    Abstract: A filling unit (1) for filling containers (90) of a first type, such as bottles, and for filling containers (95) of a second type, such as cans, with a liquid substance (99). The filling unit (1) comprises a dispenser (3), which in use faces towards a mouth of the container to be filled so as to dispense the liquid substance (99) through a dispensing opening (30) towards an internal volume of the container, and a valve (4) which is controllable for allowing and preventing the liquid substance (99) to be dispensed from the dispenser (3). The filling unit (1) further comprises a level sensor (51) for detecting a filled level of the liquid substance (99) in the container, a volume meter (52) for measuring a volume of the liquid substance (99) fed to the dispenser (3), and a control system for controlling the valve (4). The control system is configured to control the valve (4) based on the filled level detected by the level sensor (51), when the filling unit (1) is used for filling a container (90) of the first type, and is configured to control the valve (4) based on the fed volume that is measured by the volume meter, when the filling unit (1) is used for filling a container (95) of the second type.

    Abstract: A labelling machine with a carrousel comprises a carrousel (3) and a plurality of plates (4), mounted on the carrousel (3). Each plate (4) comprises supporting means (13) and a dragging element (14), comprising a tooth (15) substantially insertable in a recess made in the bottom of the container supported by the supporting means (13). The tooth (15) is off-centre relative to the first axis of rotation and movable relative to the supporting means (13) between an engaged position, in which the tooth (15) is substantially inserted in the recess, and a disengaged position, in which the tooth (15) is not associated with the recess. The machine (1) comprises for each plate (4) coupling means (41), operatively associated with the tooth (15), for coupling the supporting means (13) to the carrousel (3) when the tooth (15) is in the disengaged position, obstructing rotation of the supporting means (13) relative to the carrousel (3), and for uncoupling the supporting means (13) from the carrousel (3) when the tooth (15) is in the engaged position, allowing substantially free rotation of the supporting means (13) relative to the carrousel (3).

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to a labelling machine (1), comprising a carousel (3) rotatably mounted a supporting frame (2) in such a way that it can rotate about a first axis of rotation (30) and a plurality of supporting elements (4) for articles to be labelled (9). The supporting elements (4) are mounted on the periphery of the carousel (3) and are able to rotate about respective second axes of rotation (40). The machine (1) is characterised in that it comprises an operating unit (55) which is mounted on a rotary support (6) mounted on the supporting frame (2). The support (6) is able to rotate about a third axis of rotation (60) which is at a distance, along a radial line, from the first axis of rotation (30). The carousel (3) is movable relative to the third axis of rotation (60) and the operating unit (55), which is rotatable together with the rotary support (6), is designed to perform an operation on a lateral surface of an article (9) which is on its operating line when the article (9), positioned on a respective supporting element (4), passes near to the operating unit (55) during the rotation of the carousel (3). The rotation of the rotary support (6) about the third axis of rotation (60) is coordinated with the rotation of the carousel (3) about the first axis of rotation (30), whereby, in use, the rotation of the rotary support (6) about the third axis of rotation (60) keeps the operating unit (55) with the operating line towards the article to be labelled (9) along a stretch of angular movement of the carousel (3) about the first axis of rotation (30).

    Abstract: A filling unit (1) for filling containers (90) of a first type, such as bottles, and for filling containers (95) of a second type, such as cans, with a liquid substance (99). The filling unit (1) comprises a housing (2), configured to receive a mouth of the container, and a dispenser (3) for dispensing the liquid substance (99) through a dispensing opening (30) towards the container. The housing (2) comprises a cavity (26) which is delimited by a bottom wall (24), on which the dispenser (3) opens, and by a lateral wall (25) which at least partly has a truncated cone shape. The housing (2) is fitted with a first annular gasket (21) for the mouth (91) of a container (90) of the first type and a second annular gasket (22) for the mouth (96) of a container (95) of the second type. The first annular gasket (21) is smaller in size than the second annular gasket (22) and is positioned on the bottom wall (24) of the housing (2), encircling the dispensing opening (30). The dispenser (3) has a dispensing duct (31) in whose central region a flow modifier (34) is present, configured to impart a rotational motion on the liquid substance (99) passing through the dispensing duct (31), so that the liquid substance (99) comes out of the dispensing opening (30) with a helical flow. When filling a container (90) of the first type, the liquid substance (99) coming out of the dispensing opening (30) is dispensed directly into the mouth (91) of the container (90) and flows onto an internal surface of a lateral wall of the container (90).     Abstract: A support plate for a carrousel machine comprising a seat for housing a lower portion of a bottle, an elastically deformable locking body at the lateral wall of the seat, and a deforming unit movable between an inactive position in which it allows the locking body to adopt a home configuration, and an active position, in which it mechanically acts on the at least one locking body and keeps it in a deformed configuration in which it projects towards the inside of the seat to adhere to a lateral surface of the bottle. The insertion of a bottle into the seat causes the passage of the deforming unit from the inactive position to the active position and of the locking body to the deformed configuration.
