    Abstract: The ozone generator includes a pair of electrode plates (1) fixed opposite each other creating a discharge gap (4) between them. A terminal (2) is connected to each of the electrode plates and supply power to the electrode plates. The discharge gap is gas-tightly isolated from the electrode plates by dielectric plates (5). According to the present invention, the electrode plates are located on the external surfaces of the dielectric plates which are secured in position at a fixed distance from each other by a spacer of the geometric size (6) corresponding to the fixed distance. The electrode plates may be urged against the dielectric plates by means of the spring fixture (10, 11). In addition, heat exchange ribs (9) are fixed on the external surfaces of the electrode plates. The purpose of the claimed invention is to ensure adaptability to streamlined manufacture of the ozone generator, to increase its operating reliability and effectiveness, and to reduce power consumption.

    Abstract: An ozone generator unit includes a housing with a first half having a first recess and a second half having a second recess. The ozone generator unit further includes an inlet and an outlet in the housing, a first dielectric disc arranged within the first recess in contact with an inner surface of the first half, a second dielectric disc arranged within the second recess in contact with an inner surface of the second half, and a high voltage electrode, having a gas passage, arranged between the first and second dielectric discs. The high voltage electrode is spaced apart from the first and second dielectric discs using a first spacer and a second spacer to constitute a first gas chamber and a second gas chamber on either side of the high voltage electrode.

    Abstract: An improved ozone generator for small portable systems formed in the shape of a replacable module. The high voltage electrode in the center of the generator is of a boxlike construction with one end open towards the generator outlet port and with the sides made from perforated stainless steel in order to supply multiple outlets for the formed ozone from the corona discharge gap, which will reduce the amount of dissociation of ozone and the amount of nitric acids formed. The high voltage electrode is suspended in the center of the generator by means of 4 ceramic spacers. The potential area of surface contamination caused by impurities in the feed gas and leading to generator failure is therefore limited to the said spacers.The generator has removable thermal pads that are used in order to retain the heat in applications where the generator produces small amounts of ozone, otherwise they are removed to allow for air cooling.The whole generator assembly is held together with two U-shaped spring clips that can be removed without the use of tools. This makes the cleaning process a fast and efficient operation.

    Abstract: A corona reaction system of the type wherein substantially all of the heat generated by corona discharge is removed from the system by gas flow therethrough. A corona discharge gas flow path is provided which is between 2.0 and 10 inches in length and bounded by discharge electrodes spaced apart at a distance of between 0.01 to 0.250 inch, whereby low pressure drop over the gas flow path is maintained under conditions of high power density and gas temperature.
