Abstract:
An assembly and method for treating or otherwise improving an atmosphere contained within an enclosed space. The enclosed space can be a container such as a bag or other housing for equipment, food and/or suitable material. Ozone is generated within an atmosphere that is exposed to the material. The generated ozone is mixed with the atmosphere. At least a portion of the generated ozone is then removed from the mixed atmosphere. The assembly and method can be used to treat contaminated sports equipment and the like, as well as to treat food storage atmospheres, such as those exposed to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Ozonisator, d.h. auf eine Vorrichtung zum Erzeugen von Ozon aus Luft oder Sauerstoff. Ozonisatoren sind schon seit vielen Jahren bekannt, insbesondere der auf der sogenannten stillen Enladung beruhende Siemens-Ozonisator. Dabei wird die Luft zwischen zwei Elektroden, zwischen denen eine Koronarentladung stattfindet, durchgeleitet Dabei entwickelt sich sehr stark Wärme, was ein Hauptproblem der Ozonisatoren ist Die Erfindung zeigt den baulichen Aufbau eines Ozonisators, bei dem das Wärmeproblem gut gelöst und bei dem die Ozonausbeute optimal ist

The invention relates to a vessel (1, 39). The vessel (1, 39) comprises an ozone generator (7). The ozone generator (7) has a housing (8) having a medium inlet (9) and a medium outlet (10) functionally connected to said medium inlet (9) for allowing medium to flow through said housing (8). The ozone generator (7) comprises ozone generating means (11) in said housing (8). The medium outlet (10) is functionally connected to an interior (4) of said vessel (39) for feeding medium containing ozone from ozone generator (7) to the interior (4) and the medium inlet (9) of the ozone generator (7) is functionally connected to said interior (4) of said vessel (39) for receiving medium from said interior (4). Abstract:
A novel system and method for purification and disinfection of water containing contaminates is provided. The system includes an aeration column, a first intermediate tank, a first mechanical filter, an electric discharge device, a second intermediate tank, a second mechanical filter and a sorption filter. The water is firstly aerated by continuous mixing the water with air and ozone-air mixture. The water obtained after the aeration is treated with coagulant materials in a medium of the ozone-air mixture. Further, the water is filtered from coagulated particles. Thereafter, the water is treated by electric discharges in an air medium. The water is then treated again with coagulant materials. Finally, the water is filtered from remaining contaminates.
