Abstract:
A method of motorized movement of a vehicle door, wherein the vehicle door can be moved from an open position to a closed position as part of a closing process with a door drive mechanism associated with the vehicle door and a control system. In a first section of the closing process the vehicle door is moved by the door drive mechanism from the open position to a comfortable open position that lies between the open position and the closed position. In a second section of the closing process, the vehicle door is further moved from the comfortable open position in the closing direction, preferably to the closed position, manually by the user and largely free of the door drive mechanism.
Abstract:
An actuating arrangement and method for opening and closing a hinged motor vehicle panel utilizes a controllable fluid drive and an uncontrolled fluid drive. The hinged motor vehicle panel is driven during opening from a starting position to a predetermined opening angle by the controlled fluid drive and, after reaching the predetermined angle of opening, is driven into its final position exclusively by the uncontrolled fluid drive.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
A hinge structure is adapted to connect two objects for the two objects rotating with respect to each other. The hinge structure includes a first member, a second member, a third member, and an elastic assembly. The first and the third members are respectively assembled to the two objects. The second member pivoted to the first member rotates about an axis relative to the first member. The third member pivoted to the second member rotates about the axis relative to the second member. In a first state, the second member is accommodated in a recess of the first member. In a second state, the second member moves with the third member and at least a portion of the second member is moved out of the recess. The elastic assembly connected between the first and the third members constantly moves the second member into the recess to maintain the first state.
Abstract:
An aperture closure arrangement 10a has an aperture closure 12a formed from a plurality of panels 39 hinged together at generally horizontal axes. Each panel 39 has a runner 16a fixed near its upper edge and constrained to run in a track 31. The track 31a, 31b, 31c defines the path of the runners 16a, as the aperture closure 12a opens and closes, and therefore defines the movement of the panels 39. An elongate flexible member 22a in the form of a cable or chain is connected to the aperture closure 12a at an attachment point 24a. The elongate flexible member 22a is also connected to a drive arrangement (not shown) operable to pull open the aperture closure 12a. Guide members 30, 32 define the path of the elongate flexible member 22a between the attachment point 24a and the drive arrangement (not shown). At least one of the guide members 30 is a deflection member sufficiently close to the track 31c to allow the attachment point 24a to pass the deflection member 30 beyond the deflection member 30 when viewed from the said path, as the aperture closure 12a closes and opens, thereby threading and unthreading the elongate flexible member 22a from the deflection member 30.
Abstract:
A slidable structure for a pocket door cabinet. The slidable structure may be coupled to a false wall of the pocket door cabinet, with a door hinged to the slidable structure. In some aspects, the slidable structure includes a self-open mechanism to force the door to a fully extended position.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a method of motorized movement of a vehicle door, wherein the vehicle door can be moved from an open position to a closed position as part of a closing process, wherein a door drive mechanism associated with the vehicle door and a control system are provided, wherein the vehicle door can be moved in the direction of closing starting from the open position using the door drive mechanism. It is proposed that in a first section of the closing process the vehicle door is moved by the door drive mechanism from the open position to a comfortable open position that lies between the open position and the closed position, and that in a second section of the closing process, the vehicle door is further moved from the comfortable open position in the direction of closing, preferably to the closed position, manually by the user and largely free of the door drive mechanism.
