Abstract:
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gasanalysator zur Messung des Quecksilbergehalts eines Gases mit einer Hg-Lichtquelle, die Sendelicht mit Wellenlängen wenigstens einer Spektrallinie des Quecksilbers aussendet, einer Messzelle, in der das zu messende Gas vorliegt, einem Lichtempfänger, einer Auswerteeinheit und einer in den Strahlengang einbringbare Prüfküvette zur Überprüfung der Funktionsfähigkeit. Um einen verbesserten Gasanalysator, der in einfacher Weise kalibrierbar ist, sowie ein entsprechendes verbessertes Kalibrierverfahren bereitzustellen, ist vorgesehen, dass die Prüfküvette als Prüfgas Benzol enthält.

An apparatus and related method for optical calibration of spectrophotometers is described. The apparatus is a calibration plate including one or more cuvettes filled with solutions of interest. The cuvettes are sealed to prevent evaporation. The cuvettes also possess a compressible component to allow for expansion of the solution and a bubble control apparatus to ensure that the compressible component does not intersect the beam path. A piece of neutral density glass is optionally included in the apparatus to track optical changes of the solutions over time.

PURPOSE: A gas analyzer measuring the mercury content of a gas using an easy method is provided to measure the mercury content of gas with an easy method and to provide an improved correcting method corresponding to the mercury content. CONSTITUTION: A gas analyzer measuring the mercury content of a gas comprises a Hg light source(12), a measurement cell(30), a light receiving device, an evaluation unit, an inspection cuvette(31). The Hg light source transmits transmission lights having wavelengths of one or more mercury spectrum lines. The measurement cell guides a gas containing mercury. The inspection cuvette is inserted into a beam path, thereby inspecting operability. Benzene is included in the cuvette as an inspection gas.
