Abstract: PURPOSE: A search service providing device and a method thereof are provided to reduce user inconvenience by providing various overlapped links when providing a searching result. CONSTITUTION: A searching result generation unit(110) generates a first searching result including links corresponding to the received query. A searching result analysis unit(120) determines similarity between a first and a second link including the first searching result. When the similarity between the first and the second link is counted, a searching result control unit(130) generates a second searching result in which the second link is excluded from the second searching result.
