    Abstract: The buffer device (10) has a body (11) which can be fitted in a rail (4), a damping element (12) for cushioning, and a retaining spring (12) for retaining running mechanism (6) which is guided in the rail(4) and is provided for carrying and guiding slidable wing elements (2). The at least approximately U-profile- shaped body (11) of the buffer device (10) , which body is punched and bent from a metal element, has, a first and a second wing (14. 18), which wings are connected to each other by a central piece (20) whose tongue-shaped extension forms the retaining spring (13) serving to retain the running mechanism (6). The end pieces (17.19.26.17*.19*) of the wings (14.18) are configured in such u manner that they are suitable for retaining the damping element (12). The buffer device (l0)can be manufactured cost-effectively from single metal plate and can be completed by a damping element (12). Since the retaining spring (13) is component part of the body (11) of the buffer device (10), the device is highly stable.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning door stop that can relieve impact when closing a glass door by a thin and compact mechanism. SOLUTION: The cushioning door stop 100 mounted to one door 11a of a double swing glass door 11 to relieve impact force from the other door 11b against which the cushioning door stop 100 abuts when closing the door, includes a striking unit 100B provided on the inner surface of the one door 11a, and a door stop unit provided on the outer surface while holding the one door 11a together with the striking unit 100B. The door stop unit includes: a body case mounted to the outer surface; a door stop plate provided at the body case to abut against the other door 11b and to retreat by a predetermined amount due to the impact force; a movable block moved in an orthogonal direction to a retreat direction while allowing the door stop plate and a slant face to abut on each other; and an elastic body inserted between the movable block and the internal wall surface of the body case in the moving direction of the movable block.
