Abstract:
A roller assembly for a sliding vehicle closure includes a bracket secured to an associated sliding vehicle closure and a ball-type roller secured to the bracket at a location spaced apart from the associated sliding vehicle closure. The ball-type roller is fixed in position relative to the associated sliding vehicle closure during opening and closing thereof.
Abstract:
A hinge for wings or doors, in particular of electrical appliances, having a first element, a second element and a rocker lever for connecting the first and second elements; the lever pivots on the second element and has a first arm integral with the first element to render the first and second elements movable relative to one another with a tilting action between a closed position and an open position; the second element consisting of a substantially box-shaped body containing both elastic parts, inserted between the second element and a second arm of the lever to apply an elastic action on the lever, and a damping device, for applying a damping action on the lever during the reciprocal motion of the first and second elements, when the closed position is almost reached.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the damping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The damping device is arranged in the region of at least one of the hinges which pivotally couples both pieces of furniture, and whereby either the damping housing and/or the actuating element engages with one of the mounting element of the corresponding hinges, at least during the damping process.

Abstract:
A bearing type of guide roller capable of being reliably prevented from falling off a rail is provided. A guide roller is constituted from a support shaft fixed to a support member by caulking, a ring-shaped outer ring made of bearing steel disposed to surround an outer periphery of the support shaft via a plurality of bearings, a covering member made of synthetic resin covering an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. The ring-shaped outer ring has a flange part integrally formed on an upper end of the outer peripheral surface thereof, and an upper end of the support shaft projects from an upper end surface of the ring-shaped outer ring. Therefore, even if the covering member is broken, the flange part interferes with the rail, so that falling off of the guide roller from the rail can be more reliably prevented.
Abstract:
A side sliding door apparatus for an electric railcar includes a side sliding door suspended from a horizontal door rail with a C-shape cross-section. The side sliding door is capable of moving freely via a door roller, and a gap is formed between the door roller and a ceiling of the door rail. A guide roller with a smaller diameter than that of the door roller is provided adjacent to the door roller. A gap between the guide roller and the ceiling of the door rail is set to be smaller than that between the door roller and the ceiling of the door rail. Preferably, a gap adjusting mechanism is provided for adjusting the gap between the guide roller and the ceiling of the door rail.
Abstract:
A door truck which has a one piece frame and plastic wheels for operation in an overhead track for supporting a door in which the wheels are mounted to the frame with barrel nuts and a threaded stud. The frame has a door supporting portion through which a pendant nut can be extended with its head mounted upwardly or downwardly so as to support a door.
Abstract:
A device for supporting and guiding the movement, in both a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction, of a sliding panel in a frame structure by using guide tracks and vertically adjustable guide castors. The vertical position of the sliding panel is adjustable with the aid of a bogie-based carrying wheel mechanism. A locking mechanism with a specially designed striking plate assists longitudinal and sideways movement of the sliding panel into a locking position for locking of the sliding panel.
Abstract:
A garage door roller assembly includes a one-piece, unitary shaft and a one-piece, unitary roller, each composed of a polymeric material and a washer and a pin, each composed of case-hardened steel. The roller includes a sleeve portion having an axial bore, a wheel portion, and a web extending radially from the wheel portion to the sleeve portion. The shaft includes an axial bore, a mounting portion, and a race portion. The race portion is rotatably mounted within the bore of the sleeve portion of the roller. The pin includes a head and a stem which extends axially from the head through the opening of the washer into the bore of the shaft. A knurled segment of the stem frictionally engages the bore of the shaft.
Abstract:
A flexible door assembly includes an upper guide track comprising an elongate bar including at least two generally planar support surfaces. The upper guide track is mounted in the elevator cab, or outside the cab in the hoistway, above the door opening, defining a non-linear pathway. A plurality of door sections each having a door panel, and a carriage assembly including a carriage frame and at least two wheels each supported by, and in rolling contact with, one of the at least two support surfaces on the guide track, a hinge pin supported by the carriage, a door panel pivotally connected to the hinge pin, and wherein the carriage, the hinge pin, and the door panel pivot about the same vertical axis defined by the longitudinal axis of the hinge pin when a door assembly has moved through a bend in the upper guide track.
