    Abstract: A steering assembly for a lawn maintenance vehicle having a control assembly that receives a user rotational input, a transfer assembly for transferring the rotational input from the user to a pair of wheel assemblies. Each wheel assembly includes a knuckle connected to a pivot bar by way of a kingpin, wherein the kingpin is positioned within the rim of the tire operatively connected to the knuckle. The transfer assembly includes a sector gear having a leading edge that forms a rack that is meshingly engaged to a pinion gear of the transfer assembly.

    Abstract: A handle fastening coupling, preferably for household and gardening implements comprises a guide piece (12) that is pressed into a handle-tube end and has an elongated guide channel (14) for a handle insert pin (3), which has a first end fastened to the implement and second free end, wherein the second end has a lock opening (6); and a locking element (20) that is preloaded by a latch spring (18) in a first radial direction perpendicular to the handle axis and that is designed to snap into the lock opening of the handle insert pin, wherein the locking element can be moved out of the lock opening in the radial direction by an operating button in order to release the handle insert pin (3) to pull it out of the guide channel, is characterized in that at least one pressure cam (7) that is elastically preloaded toward the inside in the radial direction is arranged adjacent to the lock opening (6) in the guide channel (14) of the guide piece (12), which is designed to exert radial forces at an angle to the first radial direction onto a handle insert pin (3) inserted into the guide channel (14).

    Abstract: A control assembly (12) for controlling the mode of all-wheel-drive walk-behind mower (10) is provided. The control assembly (12) includes a casing (31) and a pair of levers (38, 40) extending from opposing lateral sides of the casing (31), wherein both of the levers (38, 40) are rotatable between a first operative position and a second operative position relative to the casing (31). Rotating both of the levers (38, 40) to the second operative position switches the control assembly (12) to an all-wheel-drive mode in which a front transmission (200) and a rear transmission (210) are both in an engaged state resulting in the front (18) and rear wheels (20) of the lawn mower (10) to be rotated by the transmissions (200, 210). When both levers (38, 40) are in the second operative position, the levers (38, 40) are releasably attached to each other and can be maintained in the second operative position by the user continually grasping only one of the levers (38, 40).

    Abstract: A utility vehicle includes a frame, a power source, and a plurality of steerable structures. Ground engaging members are connected to the steerable structures. An operator seating area includes a steering control and a speed control. Controllers receive input from the steering control and the speed control. Motors drive the ground engaging members at different speeds and in different directions. A controller integrates a steering input with a speed input to effect rotation of the steerable structures and effect rotation of the ground engaging members. The steering control, speed control, controllers, steerable structures, and motors are configured to work together to control the rotational speed of all of the ground engaging members based upon a steering angle input and the lateral side the ground engaging member is connected to. Other examples include braking mechanisms, adjustable track width, and a sealed tubular frame.

    Abstract: A ball handle assembly (10) for a handheld tool is provided. The handheld tool includes a powered mechanism (12), an actuating mechanism (20) for actuating the powered mechanism, and an elongated boom (14) extending between the powered mechanism and the actuating mechanism. A ball handle assembly is adjustably attached to the boom to allow a user to adjust the ball handle assembly relative to the boom to provide a comfortable and ergonomic orientation regardless of the handedness of the operator.
