Abstract: An electronic device with a display can receive an alert comprising information, and in response to receiving the alert, issue a perceptual output. The device can detect a user input and determine whether the user input was detected within a predetermined time interval after the perceptual output. In accordance with a determination that the user input was detected within the predetermined time interval, the device can display a notification on the display, wherein the notification comprises a first portion of the information. If the device continues to detect the user input after a second predetermined time period, the device can display a second portion of the information, where the second portion is different from the first portion.

Abstract: An electronic device, with a display, a touch-sensitive surface, one or more processors, and memory, displays, on a first user interface screen, an indication of a location. The device displays, on the first user interface screen, a representation of a controllable external device at the location. The device detects a first user input corresponding to selection of the controllable external device, and in response to detecting the first user input, displays a user interface object indicating a plurality of possible states of the controllable external device. While displaying the user interface object indicating the plurality of possible states of the controllable external device, the device detects a second user input corresponding to selection of a designated state of the controllable external device. In response to detecting the second user input, the device sends instructions to set the controllable external device to the designated state.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to manipulating a user interface on a wearable electronic device using a mechanical crown. In some examples, the user interface can be scaled in response to a rotation of the crown. The direction of the scaling and the amount of 5 scaling can depend on the direction and amount of rotation of the crown, respectively. In some examples, the amount of scaling can be proportional to the change in rotation angle of the crown. In other examples, a speed of scaling can depend on a speed of angular rotation of the crown. In these examples, a greater speed of rotation can cause a greater speed of scaling to be performed on the displayed view.
