Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive surface, a display, and one or more sensors to detect intensity of contacts: displays a plurality of user interface objects in a first user interface; detects a contact while a focus selector is at a location of a first user interface object; and, while the focus selector is at the location of the first user interface object: detects an increase in a characteristic intensity of the contact to a first intensity threshold; in response, visually obscures the plurality of user interface objects, other than the first user interface object, while maintaining display of the first user interface object; detects that the characteristic intensity of the contact continues to increase above the first intensity threshold; and, in response, dynamically increases the amount of visual obscuring of the plurality of user interface objects, other than the first user interface object.
Abstract:
An electronic device provides, to a display, data to present a user interface with a plurality of user interface objects that includes a first user interface object and a second user interface object. A current focus is on the first user interface object. The device receives an input that corresponds to a request to move the current focus; and, in response, provides, to the display, data to: move the first user interface object from a first position towards the second user interface object and/or tilt the first user interface object from a first orientation towards the second user interface object; and, after moving and/or tilting the first user interface object, move the current focus from the first user interface object to the second user interface object, and move the first user interface object back towards the first position and/or tilt the first user interface object back towards the first orientation.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are systems, devices, and methods for dynamically updating a touch sensitive secondary display. An example method includes receiving a request to open an application and, in response, (i) displaying, on a primary display, a plurality of user interface (UI) objects associated with the application, the plurality including a first UI object displayed with associated content and other UI objects displayed without associated content; and (ii) displaying, on the touch-sensitive secondary display, a set of affordances representing the plurality of UI objects. The method also includes: detecting, via the touch-sensitive secondary display, a swipe gesture in a direction from a first affordance and towards a second affordance, the first affordance representing the first UI object and the second affordance represents a distinct second UI object. In response to detecting the swipe gesture, the method includes: updating the primary display to display associated content for the second UI object.

Abstract:
A method, comprising: at an electronic device having a display apparatus and one or more cameras: displaying, via the display apparatus, a virtual avatar, having a plurality of avatar features, that changes appearance in response to detected changes in pose of a face in a field of view of the one or more cameras; while the face is detected in the field of view of the one or more cameras, the face including a plurality of detected facial features including a first facial feature other than a tongue of the user, detecting a change in relative position of the first facial feature; and in response to detecting the change in relative position of the first facial feature: in accordance with a determination that the tongue of the user meets respective criteria wherein the respective criteria include a requirement that the tongue of the user is visible in order for the respective criteria to be met, displaying an avatar tongue and modifying a position of the avatar tongue based on the change of relative position of the first facial feature; and in accordance with a determination that the tongue of the user does not meet the respective criteria, forgoing displaying the avatar tongue.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to displaying visual effects in image data. In some examples, visual effects include an avatar displayed on a user's face. In some examples, visual effects include stickers applied to image data. In some examples, visual effects include screen effects. In some examples, visual effects are modified based on depth data in the image data.
