Abstract:
This invention is directed to a method of decreasing the rate of escape a gas from a breached containment system by introducing into the containment system a plurality of objects that create a tortuous path for the gas to get to the point of breach thereby substantially reducing the degree of damage done by the breach.
Abstract:
Subject of the invention is pressure tank, especially three-bottoms tank, creating beneficially toroidal tank, comprising connected bottoms, equipped with connector pipes for installation, brackets for fastening the tank and cover, type plate, equipment cover, inner bottom, inner shell, divider and is characterized by that the outer, upper bottom (1) together with outer, lower bottom (2) create outer tank shell, whereas inner bottom (4) is connected with the inner shell (3), creating the central, inner part (S) of the tank, and connector pipes (9, 9a, 9b and 14) and flow connectors (15, 15a) have on their length two zones: zone A –with walls of increased thickness and zone B –with walls of reduced thickness, beneficially on the whole circumference of connector, whereas the wall thickness in zone B is between 0,5 up to 1,7 of the thickness of tank elements when the wall thickness is between 0,01 up to 2,9 mm and 0,3 up to 1,4 for walls thick above 2,90 mm.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a multivalve with a storage bag (30) and to a storage bag (30). The storage bag (30) is configured for temporarily accommodating a liquid gas fuel around a discharge for a liquid gas fuel store (1) formed from a deformable memory material, wherein the storage bag (30) has a temporarily, size-reduced position, an outer diameter of the storage bag (30) then being less than 48 mm, and a second, operative position, the storage bag (30) having a sufficient volume. The invention also relates to a multivalve with a storage bag (30) and to a strorage bag (30) having a bottom (35) with sides (31, 32) rising from the bottom (35), a one-way valve (46, 47) being placed in or close to the bottom (35) and connected to an inlet (40) in the storage bag (30), the one-way valve (46, 47) being welded to he plastic of the storage bag (30).
Abstract:
Provided is a toroidal pressure vessel having extremely high pressure resistance. Laminating latitudinal reinforcing fiber layers (32) enables to improve a strength in a latitudinal direction of a pressure vessel (1). Moreover, putting reinforcing fibers (32a) constituting those laminated latitudinal reinforcing fiber layers (32) in continuity enables to further improve the strength in the latitudinal direction of the pressure vessel (1), for example compared with a case where the reinforcing fibers are divided for each layer.
Abstract:
The present invention is a tank suitable to contain high pressure fluids, especially for compressed natural gas used for automotive purposes. The tank has a discoid shape to be easily placed on board of vehicles. The tank comprises a sealed internal core and an external coating made through a twisted coats fiber wrapping of composite material with a very high mechanical tensile resistance. According to some executive variants, the tank internally comprises a reinforcing structure made up of a plurality of elements welded in contact with the internal surface of the core.

Abstract:
The invention solves the problem of a toroidal tank. It is characteristic for two bottoms, where one bottom has an opening under the valve block 4 . The block 4 consists of a box with the bottom 5 and side walls 6 . The valve openings 7 , 8, 9 , 10 are situated at different surfaces of the box 4 The box_ 4 is situated at the corner level of one of the bottoms 1 and 2 of the tank.
Abstract:
The invention solves the problem of the toroidal tank for liquid propane butane gas with the construction, which enables installation of the required elements with economic external outline. An opening (2) has been made in the casing (1) for the valve block (3). The valve block (3) consists of the box made uniform with a bottom (6). There are four openings (8), (9), (10) and (11) for individual valves made in the bottom (6). The valve block (3) is covered with a lid (14) whose top plate is even or slightly higher than the top part (15) of the tank.
