Abstract: PURPOSE: A direct communication control method is provided to manage D2D(Device to Device) terminals by assigning uplink or downlink resources by considering cellular resources. CONSTITUTION: A control device assigns resources for direct communication between the terminals(S201). The control device assigns uplink or downlink resources of a mobile communication system. The control device assigns an RNTI(Radio Network Temporary Identifier) for D2D communication. The control device transmits an RRC connection reconfiguration message to the D2D terminals by adding the RNTI for the D2D communication to the RRC connection reconfiguration message. A first and a second terminal(210,220) receive data for cellular communication according to the scheduling of a base station(S203). The first and the second terminal discontinue data transmission. Abstract: PURPOSE: A transmission and reception method for direct communication between the terminals is provided to directly support direct communication between the terminals in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A first switching unit(410) determines the application of DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform) according to a transmission method selected based on information for selecting a transmission method. A second switching unit(420) applies the P/S(Parallel-to-Serial) of a frequency surface or the P/S of a time surface according to the selected transmission method. Abstract: A method and apparatus for handover between base stations in a carrier aggregation environment is provided. In the carrier aggregation environment in which a mobile terminal and base stations use a plurality of carrier frequency bands to transmit and receive data, a source base station analyzes the content of measurement report for each carrier component received from the mobile terminal and determines whether to perform handover of each carrier component, and manages handover of a determined particular carrier component. Accordingly, a problem of wastage of time and resources that occurs in a single carrier environment can be resolved.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fast handover method to the cellular network in the wireless LAN is provided to omit a part of the unnecessary procedure. CONSTITUTION: A transmit unit(510) transmits a service request message to the base station.
